Medicine for hangover is to drink more.
With the Lopez boys playing the middle doubles, Spain has a good chances of recapturing the Cup in 2017Carol35 said:And Spain ascents to the Wold Group after to win the doubles against a very good doubles specialists clap:clap
GameSetAndMath said:Del Po is not playing the deciding last match now as he is tired. L. Meyer is playing Kyle Edmund and whoever wins this match wins the tie. Since Kyle did well recently in USO, he may pull it off. Bad decision by JMDP to play in doubles.

Being up 2 matches after the 1st day was absolutely the silliest and stupid thing to have done putting him in there for a doubles match they couldn't win! The Captain should be fired! He put the TIE and Del Po's return in jeopardy overplaying him like that! He went 5 sets for GAWD-sake and some dragged on for an hour or more! :nono uzzled :cover

I knew that Rafa went to play the doubles. He knew that Feli and Ferru anyway would win both matches and he decided to play the doubles with Marc, smart decision!
This was great shot!

This makes it look even worse. Rafa goes all the way to India to play in some low level DC tie and that too in doubles. :cover

Both Zverevs skipped DC to play in the St. Petersburg tournament this week, with the only real difference being that Mischa had to play over the weekend to qualify while Alexander did not. I guess that is the reason the DTB will quote for why they didn't suspend the younger Zverev, but I think it is much more likely that they didn't want to bite the hand that they hope will feed them in years to come. All in all, it seems like an interesting political move- kind of a warning shot across the bow for Sascha.
