Here are the top 12 seeds at RG.

1. Dirt Devil
2. Sasha
3. Cough Drop
4. Baby Fed
5. JMDP
6. Anderson
7. Baby Rafa
8. Goffin
9. Isner
10. PCB
11. Shortman
12. Uncle Sam.

p.s. Novak made sure that he will be seeded at RG. He will be #21. This means he won't play any of the top 8 in R3.

Here are some dangerous floaters at RG. By definition a "dangerous floater" is an unseeded player who may cause an upset or two.

1. Tsitsipas
2. Ramos Vinolas
3. Coric
4. Ferrer
5. Monfils
6. Verdasco

You may think of some other players in this category. If so, chime in.

Breaking News: Milos pulls out of RG.

Already Tsonga withdrew. I expect some more casualties soon.

Have you all heard the story of a South Korean Deaf player by name Lee trying to qualify for the RG. Amazing. The story is there on tennis. com if you are interested.

As many as six different clay champions of this year (who will be unseeded at RG) did not even enter into my list of dangerous floaters. Here are the "harmless floaters".

1. RCB (he won a clay tourney in the south American leg. But, seems to be an oddity than any kind of pattern).
2. Steve Johonson (the American clay winner in Houston which had only American players in it)
3. Marco Cecchinato (again more of an aberration)
4. Pablo Andujar (He won Morocco, but is ranked outside 100, not sure what is going on, he is not even in the qualifying draw,
Either he is injured or hoping for a wildcard).
5. Taro Daniel (another aberration, won Istanbul, but needs to qualify to play in RG)
6. Joao Sousa (won a title, mostly due to home crowd support, but if I have to pick one of these six for another dangerous floater
it would be this guy).

Qualifying begins today. Here are some notables trying to qualify Taro Daniel (top seed), Robredo, Gulbis, Dutra Silva, Quentin Halys and Martin Klizan.

Donald Young ( who was upset a few years ago that USTA did not award him a WC into RG and instead asked him to earn it by playing in a local play off tourney to earn the reciprocal WC) promptly exited in the first round of quals.

This animus with the USTA is nothing new! Malivai Washington and a younger brother had the same gripe; "gimme, gimme, gimme!"

Does anyone know how you see qualification draws for RG? They have started with many matches already finished, but when you go to official website, there is no draw there. It is not on atp website neither, but the old 2017 draw instead. Very fishy.

https://www.rolandgarros.com/en-us/

http://www.atpworldtour.com/en/scor...ros/520/2017/draws?matchType=qualifierSingles

I always check Wiki; often an update is done immediately so I know there are others like me with no life!

I respect most of these choices. Still, in the category of floaters who could dump someone early, I'd keep Cuevas and RCB in. Doesn't mean they'll go deep, but I don't think anyone wants them in their first or 2nd round.

Like clockwork, delmugtro who has the game to beat the nadal got injured just in time for mowgli to vulture like no tomorrow. Ditto for Chung who was supposed to make a dent in the clay season, also has the game to beat mowgli. And like clockwork they'll be fit for Wimbledon and USO to try and be an obstacle in Federer's way.

Delmugtro played his backside off in IW and stole Fed's IW points which would've kept Fed at #1 for all these weeks and wouldn't have give Nadull a sniff of #1 till atleast end of Wimbledon and then not to forget also played lights out at USO 17 too and then folded like cheap tent to mowgli on a HC no less. It's just sickeningly unfair, these nobodies falling over each other to get Fed's number and bending over backwards for mowgli to vulture points.

Anyway as far as RG goes, it will be the same shitty, depressing result with mowgli getting a bunch of nobodies (S&V specialists) in the opening rounds when he's most vulnerable so that he settles down by the start of 2nd week, meanwhile Thiem, Zverev, Djokovic will be killing each other in the other half and then by the final dull will be fresh as a daisy and would play a tired opponent. The script has become so laughably predictable this whole season should be scrapped and grass season should start.

Does any one know what Pablo Andujar upto. He is currently ranked around #136. While that does not give him a direct entry into MD of RG, it certainly gives him a direct entry into Quals of RG. But, I don't see his name in the qualifying draw. IIRC, he played in Barcelona recently and so is probably not injured. If so, why the heck he is not even playing in the quals?

I looked even on Spanish media and find nothing.
