The biggest draws in both the ATP and WTA combined EVER is The Williams sisters Federer and Rafa .
I guess we will not see this group again ever unless it's an exhibition,we are privileged to have witnessed these superheroes in our lifetime .They brought a lot to tennis and let's enjoy Rafa before he disappears.Women tennis has no buzz at all.. imagine players like Kenin,Giorgi,Putinseva and Collins with their personalities at the top of the game.

Let’s hope. There are a ton of charities which would love to have them.

Exactly. And I would add not only did they bring a lot to tennis, they brought a lot beyond tennis, too.

It will be a long, long time before we see a champion who comes even close to Serena. Steffi Graf, the last player to have accomplishments in the same stratosphere, retired around 25 years ago.

Garcia is definitely on the come up. I think the Greek Goddess Maria aka Athena has the same issues as Mrs. Monfils, a grinder without any weapons to really stress her opponents. Halep and Wozy figured it out.
Well Caroline always had the game, though she was coached by her father for years, she needed a new coach to take her to the next level, thankfully she parted with her father, and the last year or so has a new coach, also she is a very good doubles player.I love watching her play

I disagree Women's tennis is more interesting nowadays. Serena winning everything was boring. Now lots of new players are going to be at the top of the game. Iga who already is at the top, Emma,Jabeur,Coco, Leylah & Rybakina all new players who have all played in a slam final. Sure we probably won't see another Serena who wins everything again but who wants that? I prefer going into a slam knowing anyone can win!! Lots to be excited about in the next few years on the Wta.

M. Bouzkova WD due to injury ( right trunk injury), A.Riske gets a walkover to the next round, she will either play Muguruza or Rybakina.

Coco Gauff/Jess Pegula have withdrawn from the doubles match, which I feel is a wise decision.

I also feel the WTA has great depth, I mean we were blessed to watch Serena and Venus who changed the WTA in their play.Players had to get fitter for starters, when they arrived on the tour, also their aggressive play brought a whole new attitude to the WTA tour.
Nothing every stays stat in our game, I am excited to see some of the players develop their game, I feel the WTA in area's is in a good place.

5th seed Ons Jabeur, can count herself lucky to be in the next round, saving 3 MPs, taken to 3 tight sets by wild card Catherine McNally, 63 46 76 (7)

Just tuning into the Vika v Emma match,
Vika just got broken, her 2nd serve has always been her 'achilles heel', though it is early days, lets see if Vika can break back, Vika has always been on of the best returners on the tour

Vika's ground game is off mark at the moment and serve and Emma breaks again
Emma leads 4-0
Apparently Tursnov and Emma will make their decision after the USO if their partnership will continue

Vika in big trouble, Emma has 3 BPs, nothing is working for Vika at present, her UFE count continues to climb
Emma breaks at love
Emma will serve for the 1st 5-0
Emma giving Vika a bagel, a composed looking Emma in the 1st set, playing aggressive controlled tennis in 27 mins
Lets see if Vika can respond in the 2nd set. Vika took a toilet break after the 1st set.

Vika is her own worst enemy, she is indecisive on what shots she should play, Emma has not allowed Vika to play her game
Emma breaks Vika first game of the 2nd set
I really thought this would be a 'battle' not to be
Emma broke Vika to love again.

Vika wins her 2nd game of the 2nd set,
Emma will serve for the match 5-2

Raducanu (10) d Azarenka 60 62...Emma never let Vika into the match from the start, a composed, aggressive match from Emma
Vika a match I feel you will want to forget.
A nice embrace at the net from both players!

Well wel two bagels to two slamwinners in a row - long time since that happened - if ever. Radukanu has found her form in the right moment and plays impressive tennis - hope she keeps that coach she's got -he is only on to the US Open is over - bravo.

Emma hasn't played this well since last year. Just like everyone else, she raises her game for Serena. Watch what happens when she has to play anybody else, like Tossip said, she'll be back to mediocrity. :lulz1:
:popcorn Great win for Emma again:)
