I see you guys didn't notice that today in Montreal was a "Canada Day", as the Canadians went 4 out of 4:
Beside Pospisil and Raonic, also Dancevic def. Lu and the youngster Peliwo def Nieminen, with Jarko retiring when down in the 3rd 1-3.

Oh, come on. It's one break. Mayer's hanging in ok. He had 30-all in that last game. Not saying he's not going to lose in straights, but he's not being totally muscled.

Agree with Moxie here CD. Mayer put himself in this position. Novak has hit a lot of UE's, and is not near his best. He should be beating mayer but not this bad, and he isn't winning most games at love or anything.

Want to elucidate on that?

in around april I asked him something along the lines of.."do you sometimes dream of getting a wildcard or getting through the qualifiers of say wimbldon or the French open and imagine playing Federer or Nadal on centre court ?"

he said "lol yes..sometimes I do".

and today it sort of happened..ok he isn't player the fedster or rafa/wafa but he has a 2nd rd match against someone decent (actually I cant remember who),

its not much but I was happy he quoted me and answered ..he was on a fair bit on tt but no posts from fillip for a few months, prob a bit busy :snigger, with tennis stuff.
