Benneteau takes the opening set over Janowicz. Nadal/Andujar v. Ferrer/F.Lopez are going to a TB in the first set.

Then JJ goes down a break and loses his head, a bit. He's got a temper, for sure.

EDIT: Nope...back on serve! :)

Jerzy takes out Julien. Sad that two guys I enjoy watching had to face off so early, but glad Jerzy took it!

I wonder if Isner has the stamina to go the distance. Two very tight sets as suspected.

Nadal won his doubles, herc.

Fognini/Baghdatis was a strange match scorewise.

Andy's next opponent is on - Granollers vs Dimitrov.

Pospisil returned great! It's not easy to win both TBs v. Isner.

well we sort of knew that isner was not going to last here.

so this is not a huge surprise.

^ CD, I don't know how you can get mad at him when he doesn't train enough for your liking AND be displeased when he plays some doubles to get in some match play. ;)

I see Raonic is proudly sporting the Maple Leaf and the rouge et blanc.

Big win for Popsickle. He has been losing close matches like this and this should help him build confidence.

He played very well today, against an uncomfortable opponent. I loved his energy and determination throughout the third set, after going down a break. Holding serve in the final game, and getting the tiebreak were awesome. Great job.

All tied up in the third 5-5 between Chardy and Raonic. Have I failed ever to mention that I think Chardy is rather handsome? ;)
