This is what I meant about Chuck not being in the right frame of mind to keep the #2 ranking. If he's having this much trouble w/ Matteo. What happens when he plays Zed, Bean or Djoke later?

I thought this could be a tricky first round match for Alcaraz, still a long way to go, Matteo does have a habit over 'over playing' when not needed at times

Truth be told, his whole draw is tricky. When I first looked at it, I was like, no way he defends this title. Likely won't even get to the SF w/ Bean

This is typical Matteo, he must have read my post on him :) at least try to avoid a bagel in the 2nd set
Better level from Alcaraz in the 2nd set, also his hair has grown back from that unfortunate hair cut he had earlier:)

Just proves Carlos allows players to keep him out there unnecessarily! Matteo obviously stole that set w/ all the UFE's given to him! Don't get me wrong, he deserved the set, but to drop the next at LUV; Ughh! I can't see the confidence to take it in 3! :astonished-face: :fearful-face: :face-with-hand-over-mouth: :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Sometimes it is not all about how your start in a match but the way you finish
Alcaraz handing out a bagel and a breadstick, to Matteo,
Well done ! into the 3rd round where he will play FAA

Raonic has withdrawn from his match against Rune ( calf strain he suffered in his first round match) Rune gets a walkover to round 3
Norrie - Sonego moved to stadium 2
Humbert - Kypson moved to stadium 4

Got distracted late in the 2nd set, and I see that Vukic took it 7-5. Interesting.

Novak got distracted too. :lol6:
Yes he got distracted by the great return of Vukic, Aussie, who hails from Sydney, like Moi, Oi Oi Oi, okay he lost still it was a great return shot to win the 2nd set
Vukic can hold his head high didnt get wiped off the court lol!

Vukic is of Serbian/Montenegrin ancestry. He had excellent rallies and fantastic winners. He comported himself well
