^ Go Berd, because I don't want to be in Nehmeth's position of having to root for the serve bot in the final.

He is not a serve bot. I guess you fell asleep when Rodge was broken by him. Raonic hit 3 winners, which were not serves.

So far so good, Milos up a break in the first set with Tomas.

It is not a big secret, that I am rooting for a Djonic final;)

And who would you want to win?

Stefan's Dad. Number one ranking for him to be preserved, that is the most important next goal for me.

I thought you would root for the underdog, but I get where you're coming from.

I don't think you need to worry, anyway. Assuming Novak wins today (and I think he will), he will win the final. Nishikori is a bigger potential threat than Berdych or Raonic.

If Tomas can hold now, then they are going to the wire, 3rd set tiebreak. Come on!

Oh no, nerves....2 double faults for Tomas. Oh brother, 2 break points - match points for Raonic.

Tomas p..d in his boxers when facing Milos, while serving to stay in the match.

That was a lose-lose no matter which guy won -- even the announcers several times described it as "not exactly riveting tennis" -- but congrats to Raonic.

Now, bring on tennis which will be enjoyable.

Kei won't get as much help from the court here as he did in New York. I hope (a focused) Novak keeps him on a string here and runs the young Samurai's legs off.

:cover Welcome to the dark side my friend.

(of course Nole still has to win, so there remains some hope for you)

Not to mention that the conditions are so much more pleasant here.;)

Novak looks pretty darned determined to make a statement after the loss to Nishi in NYC.

It seems with baby Stefan delivered safely and everyone healthy, he's neither pensive nor distracted.

Incredible cross court forehand to go up 5-2. Nishi was right in that point... and then it was over.

What a point Nole, stretched to the max and scoring a beautiful winner, that's more to my liking. The French boxer likes it too.:clap

If Novak wins today, he'll go from facing these insipid serves that barely make it over the net to returning bombs from the Orc. :nono
