Great stuff. Looking forward to seeing Kei play at the WTF but that court out there today. :nono Certainly not easy to hit winners. Hope the court at London is a bit faster this year so we can see some exciting shot making that this guy is capable of 'cos it wasn't easy on this dog slow court tonight.

Feel the wrath of the samurai.

Hope Kei can cut down the ufe and take out novak.

Today he had 66 ufe

Whoa. That's insanely high. Missed the end stats but that's bad.

and only 45 winners

Normally 45 winners would be very good but not a good ratio against 66 ufes. But all that counts in the end is that elusive W which he got. Unlike Roger. Doh. I missed his match earlier but credit to Raonic.

One more reason for Ferrer to hate Roger today...

I can't say I'm too disappointed in the result. Andy is needing the rest. I don't see anybody beating Novak.

I am sad to see Ferrer not make the WTF. I had to root for FEDERER today and he let me down. He had ONE blooming job to do. I wasn't thinking for a second that he would lose.

Raonic is going to bore me to tears.

I am ok with Ferrer not making it. But, I would exchange Milos with Grigor for WTF though.
But, Milos is only 23 and I probably have to put up with him for 10 more years. May be
I should change and follow some other sport after the big four leaves and Milos becomes
#1.

Ferrer didn't win a single match there last year and there's not much point in making it there to lose every match. I'd liked to have seen Dimitrov there also but it is what it is. Next year hopefully.

Milos won't ever be #1, probably won't get to #2.

It shouldn't take much to get to #2; esp. after Roger, Nole and Rafa drop out! In the old days we've had notable #2's like Tommy Haas and Michael Stich! You just need one major final appearance and a couple other good showings in a Master! The men have a wealth of riches with 3 super talents competing at the same time! They have had unprecedented results, when 30+ year tennis records have been matched and surpassed in just the last 5! Only because of the depth of the ATP is dragging Stanley down at this time! Even with a major win at OZ and a Master, he might not even finish in the top 4! Murray's made a last minute push to get back there by season's end! :nono :puzzled

So it seems that Nole came to fight for this title, good to see. I like his demeanor in the first 3 matches. He could have easily lost that 2nd set vs Monfils yesterday, but stayed calm and positive. Murray might have been tired from playing so much tennis lately, so that helped Nole today and he is coming relatively fresh into the semi final tomorrow. I am hoping for 2 set win tomorrow.:)
