I think they kept quiet for the compelling reason GSAM gave above, one I mentioned myself too, and that is that due process has to be followed. You're assuming that he was told to fake an injury at Wimbledon, but this was most likely his own initiative: he was told about the failed test just before his second round match in Wimbledon and subsequently withdrew. After this, his withdrawal from his home tourney caused journo's to peek into things. They found out the truth.
If there were bigger fish out there who suffered a so-called Grassy Knoll ban - sorry, a silent ban - then we'd have heard about it, either from journalists or fellow top pros. Unless the mafia and Vatican and the Rothschilds have told them all to button it.
By the way, I agree with Tented: if any top players are under suspicion, then obviously they all are. And I think it's unfair to treat them all with suspicion...
