And fiero, your gloating is insufferable. "Reminded me to eat last bagel for breakfast, coffee's on Dominic.!"
Was that supposed to be funny? Your guy beat a brainless ballbasher in 3 sets, I wouldn't be too happy with the performance. I will be happy to see your posts in the semifinal.

It wasn't gloating; more like frustration even though I want Nole to win and reclaim his #1 ranking! I've been saying for years the "Big 4" or 5 have exposed the latest generation or 2 of players I've been calling "gutless!" They have all this ability, but not a brain in their heads to finish off the elites! From Tsonga, Berdych, Ferrer, Gasquet, and Monfils to the more recent stars of Dimitrov, Isner, Querrey, & so many others with "huge games," there's this mental block that keeps them from achieving more! There's been a slow change in my thinking with Zverev, Thiem, & Poulle! They're doing better, but the "Big 4" are approaching the end and retirement so I wouldn't be too full of myself if I were them! Thiem came out smoking and took advantage of Nole's timid play, but it ended up being little more than a practice session! I still see good things for him, but I said the same about Grigor and see what's happened to him! Has he even played a YEC? Thiem has made it rather early; even faster than Milos and Kei who I expected more from but for their fragile and brittle bodies! :nono :cover![]()
