Yeah, it's very WTA so far in that respect. Kei's break point conversion rate is as bad as Roger's and he's losing his own serve from 40-0 up as well :s

Both are playing at a very high level. Its pretty close but Nadal is playing the big points better.

Why forget Isner v Mahut? 'cos Isner lost his next match as expected as he was utterly drained. Just like all the other Nadal fans here you're reading unnecessary silliness into everything. Again, I was merely replying to atttomole's post but yourself and herios are now tag teaming me for nothing when I merely pointed out the obvious, ie Murray was talking about Nadal and Djokovic. Frankly, anyone who can't see that should stop watching tennis. What difference does it make that I'm a fan of Federer ? There you go again. Murray is the one who indirectly named those two and not a Fed fan. No anxiety here either as I've already mentioned as I don't expect Nadal to win RG. Again there you're expressing what you think I'm thinking which couldn't be further from it. Kei's making too many errors as always. Not a bad match though and a lot better than yesterday's awful match.

Tsk tsk, bro, it's in your voice. You went from gloating and laughing at Rafa, then soon as he wins a few on the trot, you're fretting again and trying to blacken his name. You were the same with Novak, you liked himwhen he was beating Rafa, then soon as he start setting some records, you bring up CVAC, as if it's illegal. :cover

Andy was accusing them of cheating the same way that Nacho is Rafa's PR. :cover

You struggle reading basic documents. Can't be easy with a moat of prejudice in your eye. :cover

Now, back to the matter at hand.

Riotbeard, from what I see of it, it's typical clay stuff on serve, but Rafa is too good for him so far on the big points...

Good break!

Anyone else as impressed with Rafa's backhand as I am?

I've always liked Novak actually. It's not only Nadal's personality I don't like, it's his game. How many times do I have to tell you before it sinks in??! Which basic documents do I struggle to read, please tell? You're unbelievable with all the sh1te you spam here that I DID NOT SAY. How many times do you have to read that I was merely telling atttomole that Murray was talking about Novak and Rafa before you get it ffs? Murray blackened their names, not me and not A FED FAN. FFS!

It's come along way these last few weeks. It's been reliable even when the FH wasn't clicking at 100%. Now if he could just garner a better serve, we might see him challenge at the majors again.

^ Btw, you're having a hard time reading anything I say correctly and making up false narratives about what you think I'm thinking and what you think I said and assuming this, that and everything 'cos it suits you and 'cos I'm a Fed fan. Nonsense. :nono

You said Nacho was Rafa's PR :laydownlaughing

Give it up bro, you're derailing a thread with your nonsense. We're trying to discuss the tourney in Barcelona here.

Rafa's forehand is clicking, but again a battle to hold serve... :cover

Yeah, the serve is the final piece in the jigsaw. There's a higher level than Monfils and Kei who could make hay on that serve...

He's a PR person for many athletes. Anyway, you have little to defend based on Nadal's results. He claimed they had injected growth factors which is illegal. You said it was bs and yet the guy comes back like a total beast and wins everything in sight in 2013. Maybe Nacho wasn't so far off the mark after all, eh? :nono

And btw, firstly it was herios who derailed it and then you by carrying on what he started. I made just one post to point out who Murray was talking about. 1 POST. You spammed tons of crap after that.

Samurai has such a nice return game. That's what allows him to challenge the top players. He obviously could use a better serve too. It's the one thing that will keep him from winning a slam.

Yup, way too inconsistent on serve. Chang needs to tell him the aim of the serve is to get it over the net. :cover With that fixed he's a serious contender if healthy.

He should've said what he did directly to Haggerty or someone else high up in the ATP and not to some random reporters 'cos he's gonna be getting flack for the rest of his career now.

And how would that conversation go? Something like, "I'm using the same sh*t they do, so you better penalize them."

:puzzled

Nishi has a tendency to go stupid during key points; either the footwork breaks down or the shot selection. You can almost predict when the hiccup will come.

So true. It's like he climbed up the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down.

I doubt he missed them on the way up either. :cover:nono
