Rafa will have to step it up a bit tomorrow, but I think today's level was as much about a lack of real challenge as anything. I expect him to on guard tomorrow...

I do not remember Murray accusing anyone of doping. He never mentioned any names.

Only 2 guys on tour have played a 6 hour match so it was a subtle way of stating the obvious.

You need to seek a doctor. Your obsession is pathologic.

Right, let's see. I was replying to atttomole's post. No obsession here, merely stating that, yes, clearly, Murray did insinuate those 2 players 'cos on one else on tour has played a 6 hour match (forget Isner v Mahut btw).

Anyone on any forum will say the same thing btw. Not just me, so we must all need to see doctors I guess!

I didn't see it, but McEnroe and Wilander played a DC match that supposedly lasted 6 hours OTTH! :nono  :dodgy:

Why "forget Isner v Mahut?" We might as well forget Federer playing almost 5 hours in the heat in Oz - with "mono" - then coming back two days later, fresh as a perfume.

You're a bit silly, bro, but your anxieties are convincing me that Rafa might just be getting close to his best again. I mean, why else would a Fedfan go from gloating and mocking Rafa when he loses, to incoherent and illogical slurs when he's winning again? :popcorn

Great hold by Rafa there. I'm watching the football - Leicester winning 2-0 and aiming for an absolutely improbable league title - but Rafa and Kei are nicely matched here...

Why forget Isner v Mahut? 'cos Isner lost his next match as expected as he was utterly drained. Just like all the other Nadal fans here you're reading unnecessary silliness into everything. Again, I was merely replying to atttomole's post but yourself and herios are now tag teaming me for nothing when I merely pointed out the obvious, ie Murray was talking about Nadal and Djokovic. Frankly, anyone who can't see that should stop watching tennis. What difference does it make that I'm a fan of Federer ? There you go again. Murray is the one who indirectly named those two and not a Fed fan. No anxiety here either as I've already mentioned as I don't expect Nadal to win RG. Again there you're expressing what you think I'm thinking which couldn't be further from it. Kei's making too many errors as always. Not a bad match though and a lot better than yesterday's awful match.

Would love Nadal to continue like this and not drop his level as he has even in very recent matches.

Of course Murray was calling them cheaters. Murray himself has been under suspicion of using, so the stones/glass houses rule applies. Bitter words from a player who is either unwilling or unable to get to the next level.

Anybody watching the match have any info on how it's going. It seems like no one can hold serve.

Quite agree. There's been much speculation about Murray too who went from scrawny to brawny in mere months and the fact that he can't beat them often makes it sound poor. He should've said what he did directly to Haggerty or someone else high up in the ATP and not to some random reporters 'cos he's gonna be getting flack for the rest of his career now.

They can't hold serve because they're evenly matched in the serve dept. Both need to buy one from a higher power...
