Expecting Kei to hold service twice in a row is a bit much I guess ? :nono

Bernardes is calling everyone for a Time Violation. Did he give one to the crowd yet? hehe

As expected he doesn't hold serve and loses it quite spectacularly badly on a lame netted forehand. Good match though.

Well done by Nadal winning two titles back-to-back. That's a 1500 point bump in his rank and I would have to say gives him a ton of confidence heading into the home stretch of warmups.

Very good match, outside the serves, but that happens more on clay than any other surface. Great rallies and always with these men, you get grit and fight.

Two great weeks for Rafa! :clap :clap

Now, can he just skip Madrid and just play Rome instead? ;)

I doubt that will happen. He needs to seize any opportunity to pick up points before RG seedings.

At number 5 he risks drawing Novak in the quarters again. That can't happen if he's number 4 I believe so expect him to play both Madrid and Rome.

Same as ever, but Kei took a few chunks out of it. It was a good match though, some brilliant shots and rallies from both of them...

Both guys served badly but the serves Nadal actually put in were faster than usual. Seemed that way to me anyway.

I think Rafa will be pressed hard by some common sense ..Skip Madrid.. stay fresh for Rome and RG..

Vamos.. And I still hold true to my point! Bring on Djoker right now.. only his first serve percentage can be better but everything else looks to be on point at this stage in the clay season, IMO

He's not ready for the likes of Novak yet. Those 2nd serves are a generous love offering right now. He will get pummeled into submission like IW. He needs to get that placement and speed a little better first.
