Nadal's serve is questionable right now. But the thing is it a technique problem or it is a mental problem?

It is like in the NBA in which players are shooting free throws. In practice, they are shooting it well but in games, they are still missing it.

Hopefully, Nadal can figure it out by Roland Garros.

About the serve I've never have had too much hope. I've read long time ego that even that he plays better with the left hand it's not working so well with the serve like he would do it with the right one :nono

Actually the past few weeks when Rafa has been pressed meaning down in his service games, he have dialed up a few beefy serves at a higher pace and some well placed body serves.

That's true, buddy, when he's faced pressure situations the last two weeks he's responded with whatever's needed. It's definitely the most positive start to the clay season we could have asked for...

Thanks Carol. I'm always waiting for your tennis analysis. Same goes for you Kieran and AP. Totally unbiased towards Nadal at all times and not a hint of a slagging towards Federer or fans, eh ? :popcorn

You are very welcome but you shouldn't be offended, you should analyze your post and how many times you are accusing to Nadal without any sense. Hey, we can do the same to Roger but I don't think it's worth or something that can change the results, each one has had the good and bad times, winning and losing but you should be a little more respectful to who deserve it, otherwise you seem to be a bad loser and also boring

That fact that you all liked this post proves it all. When I see posts along the lines of Nadal played so badly, playing like this he has no chance to win. His confidence is so low. He's so bald lately (sorry, couldn't resist), etc it shows no respect to the opponent's play and yet you think that's being honest? He hasn't played that badly at all as half of you are letting on, it's just that the opposition have been more inconsistent than he has. Hardly anyone out there capitalizes on the short balls and guys like Nishikori who get so many break points fail to convert any of them and even when they do, they can't hold serve. My analysis is unbiased. I tell it like it is, it's just you lot don't like it when we say anything negative about Nadal. It makes us hater/detractors/"antis"/Federer fans (?!) just 'cos we say what actually happened and you all can't accept it.

For a long time now Nadal has been hitting short balls, he has been serving poorly and has been shaky on his best shot, the forehand, making lots of errors and shanks. I'll continue being unbiased and say that he has since started hitting the down the line forehand much better and seems to be moving better, anticipating shots better and also hitting the backhand better. That's about enough praise for him, so excuse me while I go stick my fingers down my throat and puke.

You're not all as brutally honest about his game as you think, not even close. Anyway, you should be happy these past 2 weeks.

See what you wrote , you only speak of kei or others lack of converting bps, but you give no credit to Rafa incredible defense . Two days ago Rafa , Kieran was a bit disappointed or someone mentioned the 3 bps at mp Rafa wasn't able to convert and I quickly respond it was the great play of the Fog that won that game. Front your analysis is bias on a troll like dislike for this player's domination of your beloved. Nothing more..However when it comes to Djokovic recently domination of an aging Fed, you spread eagle for his fans, you never utter a da#n word. That's a bit of a crowdly gutless character you are possessing, IMO

Sure his defense is great but I'm not talking about the shots Nadal wins by forcing errors. By the law of averages you're hopefully not too dense to understand that many of them are just down to lame errors, netted forehands, shots blown miles wide, overheads that hit Pluto, etc. I never utter a word about ageing Federer losing to Djokovic? LOL, that proves my point 100% about just HOW blind you are, AP. Go read the bloody forum properly ffs. I've been going on and on with the likes of Obsi (a Djokovic fan) and his weak competition crap arguing that this current "era" is weaker than Federer's prime years. El Dude has opened a whole thread on it ffs. Go read before spouting misinformed sh1te as usual. Nothing gutless here at all. You on the other hand need to read the forum properly and not just linger on the Nadal threads before making stupid statements.

Talking about 'bold', have you seen the Roger's head these last too years? soon he is going to comb his hair like Trump because he forehead is getting more and more wide and bigger.....(sorry, couldn't resist)

And yeah, we are VERY happy to see Nadal playing much better than these past years, it's not our fault that you look to be so much disappointed :popcorn

^ Another silly post. This is a photo from 2 weeks ago and not an airbrushed one.

Was in a hurry earlier as I was going out so here's the proper link from Twitter. Doesn't look too bald to me.

Don't worry, no memo necessary. Wimbledon isn't far away :p

Bernardes is calling everyone for a Time Violation. Did he give one to the crowd yet? hehe

James Blake, the commentators during the MC tournaments and all this year have mentioned that if you are gonna call it , do it early, set a precedent but to wait til its later at 5-5 or bp is very asinine. I give Rafa and others credit by not letting it mess with their concentration.

LOL, give it a rest will you. He's got tons more hair than Nadal. Things are getting so petty here that you have to try and argue with me that Federer is going bald as well :cover Have a bet which one of them is bald as a coot first.

Wafa and his uncle know it's all on the line this year and mostly just the clay season. If he doesn't win RG he is probably done. I hope Djoker or some surprise player is up to the task to rid the sport of him once and for all.

I think Rafa and his uncle is just waiting to see if the RedWitch Melisandre will be able to resurrect Jon Snow instead of betting Rafa 'S career on him regaining his crown at RG. He has won the darn title nine times already. A tenth title can wait or it won't be his career end.
