I don’t mind Serena’s attire. I think the pattern is bad, but the actual form is cool. I think why it isn’t gelling for some is the extreme change from her previous tournament. I definitely liked her outfit from the previous tournament more.

I thought she looked great! Esp. for someone who hasn't played in aa year.

Long way to go,still she was impressive,also the final she won before the AO and she has a good draw.,being in the lower half of the womens draw.

Su-Wei has been slicing and dicing her way into spaces on court and making Bianca uncomfortable on court
Sui-Wei was serving for the 1st set,Bianca broke back with some good returns
Sui-Wei leads 5-3.Bianca with some questionable shots and gets broken
Sui-Wei 1st set 63.....Bianca will have to do it the hard way again in 3 sets if she is to win.In saying that she has not played in a year and a half.,probably feeling her first match which was long.Bianca has gone to a bathroom break

Early break in the 2nd set for Su-Wei who has really neutralized Bianca's game so far.
Good service to game to love from Bianca gets the break back....lets so if she can go on with it in the 2nd set.,good strong returns,fhand working well.
Su-Wei too good and is just a service game away from winning the match,Bianca showed better signs early in the second set,Su-Wei again just neutralizing her game.

Hsieh d Andreescu 63 62....well controlled match from Hsieh and deserved her win.Always going to be a tricky match,for any player,Hseih is quite unothordox,it does work for her and she is a excellent doubles player.

I also say Hiya, tossip! Good to see you around. And I agree with K...important to get out every day, even if just for some air and Vitamin D, and stretch the legs. Can't be easy in Ontario, but don't be too homebound. We got a bird feeder, which is also a little bonus outside of the window. And @kskate2, also not loving Serena's outfit, but I like her attitude, and if she feels good in it, I'm hoping this is the Major that she gets her mojo back to heft the trophy.

Hi Moxie I just walk up and down the driveway thats it.I actually love the snow its just a tad cold this year.Its getting warmer so I will be taking midday walks for fresh air and to stretch my legs.
I was kinda disappointed to see Vika lose.I hope she gets her act together.I hope Venus is ready for Errani because thete will be lots of balls back..

Walking up and down the driveway and getting outside is still good. Sunshine, fresh air, move around. I know people who don't go out at all. Agreed about Vika...I actually think she's on the comeback trail. This is a hiccup. Funny to see Errani still around, in a way. It always depends on how V feels on the day, but she's still all-in.

Oh Petra DF and Cristea wins the 1st set 64....Hot conditions in Melbourne is having an effect on Petra's brain....she is 1/6 on BP and some of her shots selections have been questionable.
Petra has hit back strong in the 2nd set 61
Going to a decider
Double break for Cristea in the 3rd she leads 3-0.....Petra too many UFE and in this heat needs to play the points short,first strike tennis is needed in these conditions.Kudos to Cristea she is making Petra play one more ball.
