Did you hear what Frances said lol...'I love this shit.I love it'......dont worry Frances I will a say a few Hail Marys for you!Go, Frances! Tiafoe takes a set off on Novak in the TB. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Surprisingly, Djokovic is huffing and puffing after that rally. Anyways, fun match so far! What a point! 33 shots and Tiafoe won it.
I am still clutching my rosary beads blessed by Pope John Paul 11.....I also used them in the 2008 final between Federer and Nadal.after saying a few Hail Marys after Frances swore lol! What a point! 33 shots and Tiafoe won it.
He took Fed to 5 in round 1 of the USO 2017, IIRC. The Fed fans took that as a definite sign of Roger's bad back, to an insulting degree. But Frances has game. He's unlikely to win this, but he's surely making Novak work for it. I agree that he's keeping himself positive and putting in the hard yards. This is probably Tiafoe’s best GS match of his career in terms of mental toughness. I know he is down 2 sets to 1 to Djokovic, but he is fighting and have positive attitude every single game
Well to be fair he injured himself playing Montreal 2017 with no match play prior coming straight from holiday/vacation whatever people wish to call it and entered the USO carrying a back injury. So yeah, it had a big impact on his USO and probably hands down one of the dumbest scheduling moves of his career. He took Fed to 5 in round 1 of the USO 2017, IIRC. But with their loyalties divided. Am looking forward to Thanasi giving a good account of himself. He's had a lot of bad luck the past 4-5 years hasn't he what with one injury after another.Greek fans will be out in forces today at Melbourne Park for the match between Tsitsipas vs Kokkinakis ( Melbourne has the 2nd highest population of Greeks that reside in Melbourne ).
He sure has,I followed him as a junior,he and Nick were in the AO Boys Final, which Nick won, fingers crossed he can stay healthy, this young man has had enough injuries and illness the last 4-5 years. But with their loyalties divided.
