Even Djokovic seems rangy, but he has very muscular legs.
Or they can be big in the upper chest area like Fernando Verdasco or Matteo Berrettini! :-)2
Yes, but like Rafa, they both have big legs. What players have big upper bodies and smaller legs? Paire comes to mind. But not really...his problem with his upper body is his head. LOL.

Last year Australian Open clashed with impeachment forcing me to watch TV 24 hours a day,
12 hours of Adam Schiff and 12 hours of tennis. Fast forward an year. Same story

Do you think I am a fair weather fan of Fed? Roll eyes
Not for one single minute, my friend. That was a dig at Belichick's expense, but I didn't mean it to be at yours.

So Rafa lost one game so far due to his back issues?
Look at opponent. He's a bit tentative, and playing short. And he did just play a terrible game there. I'm hoping that the back is about some tightness, and it will loosen up across the fortnight.

At least in AO we would not know what will happen before hand. Impeachment is like RG,

It will be interesting to see in the later rounds if Nadal will start to play tentative when his back is still stiff. Hopefully, it does loosen up a little bit

Imperfect parallel, though. The impeachment is rigged. X-number of Senate Republicans have declared ahead of any debate. At least Nadal has to actually fight to win RG, however boring and predictable you may find the outcome. Most people who voted in the poll on this forum thought Djokovic was going to win that match, and no one would have predicted that he'd get his ass kicked, so there was some element of surprise in there. :)

Medvedev cruised over Pospisil. That seems ominous.

It was really good, and you must find it. He had so much to say about how there are bigger things going on in the world, and how hard these times are. It was really philosophical and lovely.

I just read that Darren Cahill said the test will be tomorrow when Rafa wakes up....(back)

Agreed. Waking up at 34 after a match isn't always the happiest thing, anyway. I'm hoping he has time to loosen it up and get past it.

Watching Michael Mmoh (US) split sets with Troicki. He's got the same kit as Zverev. I'm tempted to a "Who Wore it Better" on the sleeveless white Adidas shirt. Gotta give it to Mmoh. Sorry I don't have a visual. Better arms, and they're browner, so he wins on beefcake and contrast. But @Adidas...it still looks like a practice shirt that likely has a beer stain on it, and a whiff of weed. A color, of any kind, would have been a better choice.

Looks like De Minaur is taking Sandgren to the woodshed. Always a pleasure. Sandgren had done well in Oz the past few years, I think.
