can't beat father time. I think the older you get the higher the stakes seem to get. You don't give yourself credit for what you've done before, you worry more about how many more chances you'll have. It's sad in a wayI think this was the first time I saw Nadal miss a smash and quite important one at 1:0 in TB. If he put that in, it would be easy victory.
I agree! And I think Nadal is the best at accepting this idea while still working hard and trying to be the best.can't beat father time. I think the older you get the higher the stakes seem to get. RG will be whole different story. So tsitsipas beats a badly Injured 34 year old Nadal. cool story bro but we know Nadal winning the next slam.
A huge reason why I won't miss Talk Tennis is the abundance of trolls on there today. Tennis Frontier seems like a quieter but more peaceful abode. A whole heap of activity isn't necessarily a good thing in this instance.Sore loser clown. Badly injured my hole. Wake up and give credit to the winner 'cos Nadal was fine. Look at the first 2 sets ffs. You're the reason many posters left this forum along with your tag team partner.
You've got that all wrong here if you're thinking I'm the troll. From your only 14 posts you've missed tons of gems from the poster I was replying to. Should search for some of his posts and you'll see exactly what I mean. He blamed Covid19 for Nadal's loss and claimed he was badly injured. That should be all you need to know...A huge reason why I won't miss Talk Tennis is the abundance of trolls on there today. Tennis Frontier seems like a quieter but more peaceful abode. I didn't think Sabratha was calling YOU a troll, just replying to your comment about one of the, shall we say, extreme Rafa fans chasing folks off. Anyway, @Sabratha, I agree with you about some of the other forums just being too trollish and irritating. You've got that all wrong here if you're thinking I'm the troll. He has missed a few, but so rarely that I've heard commentators say the same thing when it happens.I think this was the first time I saw Nadal miss a smash and quite important one at 1:0 in TB. If he put that in, it would be easy victory.
I mostly agree with this, though I'm not sure that people don't give themselves credit for what they've done before, but somehow the confidence that that should bring does seem to be undermined by a new sense that opportunities are dwindling. I think that's what happened to Roger at Wimbledon 2019, and to Rafa in the final at the USO that same year.can't beat father time. I think the older you get the higher the stakes seem to get. could have an all Russian final. Perish the thought.
