So Rublev keeps winning. Won the tiebreaks. That was the difference. Dominated the tiebreaks is more accurate. Rublev just upping his game in both tiebreaks and Goffin not up to the task. Goffin did well to force the tiebreaks. He's always solid. Always close. But Rublev in a winning habit right now. He's won two titles and now his 3rd match here. Going back to the Davis Cup at the end of last year that's 15 straight match wins.

He may be the favorite whether he plays Zverev or Verdasco. He'll be top 10 in no time playing like this. Even if he falters in the next round or the quarters. Healthy and and coming into his prime. Confident. He'll be top 10 by the end of Miami.

Good win for Thiem over Fritz. Fritz getting better and better. May be an American male I actually care about other than Tiafoe. Though neither are in my top 10 of guys to root for. But Thiem is. Glad to see him live up to his ranking. Or at least take a step further towards making the quarters. La Monf will have something to say about it. But a quarterfinal match up with Nadal is something I'm really looking forward to. They've had an epic or two on hard courts and I'd love to see another. Here's hoping.

Gotta sleep now. May get up in a few hours to catch some later stuff. But gotta at least have a nap.

Giraffe is dismantling Verdasco.

But man, the Serbian umpire is looking hot. I knew we, from this part of the world, have the prettiest women on earth, always glad to be remembered of that.;-):

What a match that was. Second one with 10:8 in the 5th. Wow.
Now Nadal will win in straights.

That partnership lasted 2 weeks LOL! Muster was not in Theim's box when he played Fritz.

It's happened before; very short term hook ups for coaching! I seem to remember Connors working with Sharapova that went for maybe a day or 2! Agassi was replaced with an oldie when it came to working with Djokovic!

I believe Sharapova sacked Connors after 1 match:)
I think it is hard to have a couple of coaches in your team, unless they are in mutual agreement in coaching of the player.

Verdasco washed up should retire also bro if I'm being honest Australian and Russia women are the best looking but I'm fine with Serbia as well.

This one had puzzled me because if there’s one surface that Theim has mastered, its red clay. If anything Theim needs more consulting for consistent results on HC, whereas Muster was a one surface specialist.
