No fear of the pink. I think we're over that.

Ralph broken by unknown guy.
Here we go...the tedious slog through a major with you hoping for the Rafa upset. It was a game. Nadal won the set. Give it a bit of a rest until it at least counts, will you?

Rafa always works on his serve.

It is not as good as it was towards the later part of last year ,even when he played at the ATP Cup it wasn't that great either.Rafa served well during the DC Cup

I come to accept the fact that Nadal's serve will always be "up and down" (in a good way). As long he is attacking the ball and have an aggressive mentality (return of serve, forehand, backhand, and etc...) I am a happy fan.

I realize that, though in the first set he was missing his first serve a lot.It might be okay say in the early rds of a GS but here at the AO he will need it,say in the business end of this tournament.

Well even if he is serving well against Djokovic, Federer and other players, it is about how well he is playing with his groundstrokes. I think he will improve his serve as the tournament progress...

Rafa sent one of his racquets to be strung tighter as he feels the balls are flying around the court at present, apparently he is not happy and usually the racquet should be back on court by now, spoke to the umpire about it.

Rafa now has his racquet back he asked to be re-strung,used it in his last service game of set 2 which he won 6-3.

Sad to see Auger-Aliassime lose. Cool outfit too. His time will come.
