Serena and Venus have pulled out of the doubles, due to a elbow injury Venus is carrying.

A match I am really interested in watching is Shelby Rogers v Ash Barty......I wish Ash was taller:) she has a great all court game, coming back to tennis after playing cricket. Can Rogers keep up her impressive performance she had against Halep.

Good win for Ash! More comfortable than most might expect.

The only thing that matters, as far as women's singles is concerned, is that Angelique defends her title in style :yesyes:

I did not see all of Ash's match as I was watching Nick's match as well. This will give Ash a lot more confidence with her come back to tennis especially at her home GS.

I am interested in watching Konta v Osaka,I thought Konta might have had a let down against Flipkins after winning her title in Sydney.I also love watching Osaka who has such great raw power, she has a lot of natural talent.

From memory Serena has a 9-0 H2h over Lucie,I feel Lucie isnt back to her best after her illness.

Wozniacki beat Vekic easily. Cibulkova is making this harder than necessary. She was up a break in set 2 and they are now in a tiebreaker.
