Nick is familiar with the F word! ;) And just smashed his racquet after losing the first set.

^ I didn't see it, so thanks for the summary.

The one thing I noticed about Nadal in that interview is that he looked very relaxed and he was laughing a lot. This is the first time in this tournament that he seems calm even outside out of the court. It probably means that he is starting to believe he can win the tournament now. Let's hope this demeanor translate into the court.

Nadal at this point would be the favorite against anyone not named Murray or Djokovic. I don't think he's ready to beat Murray, and I wouldn't give him a prayer against Djokovic.

I was right. This match has turned into Kyrgios-Robredo US Open match. Right now, Kyrgios is getting rattled by Seppi's pace just like he was rattled by Robredo's pace.

This is where Nadal's statement is right on. Kyrgios' has big serve that allows him to play well and can potentially be a top player in the future. But once he gets older and players start to know him more, that serve will be neutralized that's when Kyrgios needs to undertand that he can't always be flashy or play big bang tennis every time.

By the way, Jason Goodall is a very nice edition for ESPN. His insights are awesome and very keen to the point. Now, if we can get Robbie Koenig to do commentary alongside Goodall then it will be cream on the top.

If we can combine Tomic's anticipations, skillset and Kyrgios fiery personality, then we could potentially have a great player.

Although tonight I would describe some of it more like, "Me play tennis pretty one day."

Completely agree.

Right now, Kyrgios needs to take this set into a tiebreak to have a chance to win the set and match.

As for Seppi, he just needs to stop putting the ball on the net. If he could do that, then this match will be over in three sets.

And Seppi breaks Kyrgios and now is serving for a two sets to love lead.

Got to give credit to Seppi - he's such an all around solid player. He's playing really well, especially considering the crowd. I can't see Nick coming back from this, sadly.

Seppi's running forehand has been amazing in this tournament!

As for Kyrgios, he needs to get a coach that will discipline him during matches.

You're right, that's very impressive. Almost no one in that entire stadium wants him to win, but he has taken the crowd out of it, and focused on his game.

Yep. I appreciate players like Seppi - always has a very calm and reserved temperament on court, keeps to himself and does his own thing.

Nick up a break now, though. COME ON! Epic comeback on the horizon!
