Shocking way to lose the set there by Anderson but it was expected after he failed to convert any of the 6 break points in Nadal's last service game.

Yeah, now he needs to return much better to win easier the second set

Let's see if Nadal could finally relax after winning the first set.

Hopefully with the first set in his back pocket, Nadal can relax, loosen up, and be a bit more aggressive with his baseline play. I'm disappointed to see him give up the aggressive position he was taking on his return in his prior matches but it's somewhat understandable, though I do like to see him do it on Anderson's second serve.

Anderson missing those inside out forehands in that final game hurt him, and that's why he went back to Nadal's backhand in the subsequent points while taking some racket head speed away. Great serving from Rafa on break points though.
