Jisner retires and kohlschreiber withdraws?

Yup, just heard that. Rough :s

Oh, dear. This could be like the bloodbath at Wimbledon, but for different reasons. Any idea why Kohlschrieber withdrew?

First action I've seen and yes the court is noticeably quicker and the balls seem to be staying pretty low. Wish it would've played like this the past 5 years as Roger may have been a much bigger factor. At this point he isn't good enough. Good enough to beat Duckworth and the next couple but that's about it, barring a huge change in form.

Fed's path to the final is a potential nightmare anyway assuming all the favourites get through.

I see break point conversion continues to be a problem with Roger. He's 1/8, playing a guy ranked 134. :s

Cmon Mate he never stood a chance in 2011,2012 even if the courts were faster. Djokovic was on another planet back then remember ,nobody was gonna beat that Nole there . 2013 might have been different though but we will never know

True and agreed sadly. I'll be away from Thursday to Monday and likely when I get back Fed will have exited the tournament

I still don't think he could have made it past both Tsonga and Murray, and then Djokovic.

Roger wouldn't have been favorite but it is worth mentioning that faster and lower is to Roger's favor, not Nole's. Nole is at his best on medium/slowish courts.

Courts are really quick. Kei is coming back in the fourth.

We will see if Tsonga gets to the 4th. If so it is probably curtains for Roger.

Duckworth has a decent serve and nice touch at the net.

that's not how it works..20c isn't half of 40c..0c is just a handy number we hang on the freezing point of water.

absolute zero is whatever it is ??? -173c or something.

Gotta screw with your immune system going from 42c one day to 20c the next.
