At least Sloane fought to the end, bad luck, Kalinskaya is one cool customer, stayed composed throughout the match, even when she was behind
Yeah, too bad. Good showing, though. It if over Sloane lost
Especially after the 2nd set, where she wasnt moving her feet. she started stronger in the 3rd had BPs, shame, and could not convert them when it mattered,Yeah, too bad. Good showing, though.
Unreal I can now breathe a great match between the 2 Chinese ladies, maybe a shot of Tequila is requiredHoly cow, that was a heck of a match point to finish it in the match TB between Zheng d. Wang.
The tequila industry just got a "shot" in the arm for tennis fans. I have a nice bottle of Don Julio, with a shot waiting for Mannarino's next win.Unreal I can now breathe a great match between the 2 Chinese ladies, maybe a shot of Tequila is required
She tried to intimidate the youngster but ..no Bueno.I think IGA over did it by playing the United Cup , over prepared and she peaked during that period.I hope someone knocks out Saba soon. Not really surprised by the result. I always knew Linda Noskova had the potential. Plus, Iga looked vulnerable as ever, and probably should have lost to Collins the other night.
She did the same thing w/ Banshee. The difference is Collins folded. This girl was having none of that. That's part of the issue w/ playing the UC. If you make it to the final like Iga did, you end up playing alot of matches. She tried to intimidate the youngster but ..no Buena.I think IGA over did it by playing the United Cup , over prepared and she peaked during that period.I hope someone knocks out Saba soon.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching Vika take down Ostapenko! Vika played well and bravely, holding it together to win those games in the second set to avoid a third.Seeds that lost on Day 7
Swiatek (1)
Ostapenko (11) that was a great match and Vika has the wood on Ostapenko now leads their H2H 4-0
Navarro (27)
Agree, Vika hold no fear when she plays Osta and knows the right way to play her, it was a tough bold service game she played to win 75 in the end.I thoroughly enjoyed watching Vika take down Ostapenko!
