It could but i don't think it will come to that as the frenchman has the edge with tons of experience. Young Ben's going to have to earn this win with sheer guts and finding something extra.

Yes , that's what i commented on earlier. There were two long serves games on Ben's serve at the start of the fifth. The boy' weary but that's not taking anything away from the frenchman who has loads of experience to call upon.

Ben should hold his head up high after this one. No shame in losing a tough 5-setter to a seeded player, in a match where Ben gave it his all. It's tennis, you win some and you lose some.

I do agree w/ @nehmeth. It's time for Ben to graduate to a new coach. His father has taken him this far, but it's time to hire a coach that is a strategist and will maximize Ben's strengths.

Korda is another Fritz. Fritz was a huge choker when he first came on tour and it still does rear its head now and again. I've seen Korda snatch Defeat from the Jaws of Victory too many times

Korda can really stink at times! He gets a lead and just can't finish! Hopefully it won't be a total collapse like he did against Nadal up 2 breaks!

His confidence has not returned from the injury last year. But it’s not just choking. He doesn’t have the fire power. I’ve watched player after player bully him around the court. It’s disheartening.
