It could but i don't think it will come to that as the frenchman has the edge with tons of experience. Young Ben's going to have to earn this win with sheer guts and finding something extra.
I know. It's almost like the Taro Daniel match last week. It's time to see if Ben learned something. Regardless of the outcome, these tests will be good for him in the long run. Like Coco Gauff after making the French Open final, Ben is going to get everyone's best shot, and he's not going to be able to sneak up on anyone.

Damn this for a joke, none of the Channel 9 TV stations are broadcasting this titanic match. One has to install 9Now online (free in AU) to watch this thing on my portable laptop. Far out

Just getting up and see Big Ben is in trouble. Down a break in the decider to Manna.

Now he has an insurance break. Looks like Ben is gassed, but no excuse when playing a senior on the tour. He should have the fresher legs. Manna to serve for a spot in R4. And I actually think he will be a bigger test for Djoke than Ben would have been. No one wants to play Manna.

"The Telephone Man" is about to go down in flames! I wished I liked him better, but just don't care for his type of showmanship! "Be respectful kid!"

Yes , that's what i commented on earlier. There were two long serves games on Ben's serve at the start of the fifth. The boy' weary but that's not taking anything away from the frenchman who has loads of experience to call upon.

Loads of experience and a really unorthodox game. Like I said, no one wants to play Manna.

Its all over red rover for young Ben. 35 year old Adrian reaches the round of 16 and will take on 36 year old Djokovic.

Ben should hold his head up high after this one. No shame in losing a tough 5-setter to a seeded player, in a match where Ben gave it his all. It's tennis, you win some and you lose some.

Korda is another Fritz. Fritz was a huge choker when he first came on tour and it still does rear its head now and again. I've seen Korda snatch Defeat from the Jaws of Victory too many times

His confidence has not returned from the injury last year. But it’s not just choking. He doesn’t have the fire power. I’ve watched player after player bully him around the court. It’s disheartening.
