Oh well maybe that is the start Rafa needed, won in 4 sets, upwards now Rafa!
Draper has a lot of upside to his overall game,. just needs to work more on his fitness, also shot selection at times, he is young and has plenty of time for improvement in those area's well done young Jack!

Let’s reflect for a moment.

Rafa Nadal is 36.
Jack Draper is 21.

Rafa is 15 1/2 years younger than his vanquished opponent, so when do we start calling him the new “Matusalén” ?

Pospisil absolute on fire in the 1st set against FAA 61 in 36 mins, not the score I or anyone was expecting
Get that young man a shot of expresso!
Expresso helped FAA wins the 2nd set 76(4) and won the 3rd set 76(3)

Lloyd Harris leading Musetti #17 2 sets to love .... I am not surprised as Musetti has had shoulder problems recently

This is so typical, to win a tournament before GS and then go out early in a slam.
My draw challenge is shot to pieces, this loss just added to it, I should have thought about that fact more, after winning a tournament just 2 days ago, also what happened to Borna Coric?

Sorry about your draw, but it will happen to all of us sooner or later, just give it a few rounds.

I don't know what happened to Borna, had high hopes for him in AO this year. Draw was good. They say Lehecka played great tennis today, but still it feels that Borna came out flat today and it helped his opponent. Coric is a great fighter, I would expect him to lose in a 5 set battle, a close match, not like this.

Day Two and ESPN has already begun limiting what they show. They don’t begin coverage until 11:30 PM (east coast), at which point matches will have begun 4.5 hours earlier. To paraphrase Gollum, ”I hates ESPN!”
Can you not use vpn to sign up to discovery+ sport?

I guess I'll be up late! Looks as if Novak's match is the last on "Rod Laver Arena!" I wonder who we'll lose today? As usual; some good matches on!

I’m not sure. I’ll have to look into it.
If you figure anything out, LMK. I'm so incensed by ESPN and their grubby greediness. I know I said this last year, but most of it is on in the middle of the night...what ELSE are they going to show?? It's a blatant ploy to get us hard-core fans to shell out money. And just wait until we find out how hard it is to cancel the service, even if we DO break down and pay for a month. Hurrumph.
