50 things Djokovic has over Nadal:

While a lot of these are true, and quite good, there are a lot in there that are the kinds of records that Rafa and actually Roger have, too, since they're parsed out as fine-points. For example: Most "Shanghai Titles." (#40.) He has 4. This makes a lot of that, but ignore the fact that Rafa has 11 Monte Carlo Masters...a record by a lot. And it doesn't note that Rafa still has the edge in slam win pct. It's late, but I think you get my point. I could make a long list like this of Rafa's first to/most to accomplishments, and it would look good, too. Then there's the Federer ones
.

2 Things That Gasquet Has Over Djokovic:
1. More Montpellier titles (3 to 0)
2. More Nottingham titles (2 to 0)

Ergo, Gasquet > Djokovic
Oh, don't be snide. I thought you'd be the first person to complain when stats are just wrong.

I wasn't mocking you. If anything, I was making fun of the relatively arbitrary nature of some of the things listed (e.g. "Most Shanghai titles").

Not in a good way, I take it? ;)
Significant preposition "at." So, no. At least not around here. :lol6:

This reminds me of a great line: "I didn't say he was "shot." I said he was "shot at.""

How Nadal dominated on clay is greater than anything Djokovic ever did on hardcourts/Grass.

Nadal Also more popular and loved Compared to Djokovic has more Entertaining game as well..

Nadal better looking than Djokovic and for that Nadal did for tennis he's still the Goat. Nadal played the best tennis in history and way he played the game was the best.

Nadal inspired people outside tennis with he's endless comebacks and faced most hardships this is why he's the Goat.

This is from Mats Medicated Wilander's analogy on why you can easily compare the record of Djokovic's 10 AO Opens with Rafa Nafal's 14 French Opens....
" If you win 10 AO on hard, that means you have to beat maybe the best field in tennis because everybody knows how to play on hard courts"....fathom that out at your own leisure :)
That’s just senseless, but Mats is like that. If Rafa wins Paris he’s the greatest human being in history, no doubt about it. But then if Novak wins another one, he’s the greatest person in both human history and the future yet to come!

Mats isn’t a great thinker, he’s a bandwagon jumper. He shouldn’t be lowering the tone this way, but he can never help himself…

Novax stats will nearly always look better than Rafa's because 80% of the tour is played on his best surface the Hard Courts, if 80% of the tour was played on Clay Rafa would have even better numbers! Imagine 2 clay court slams a year and 6 clay court masters + the wtf on Clay, It's amazing Rafa has such good numbers as there are only has 4 big titles a year on his best surface...

Wimbledon is still "The Championships" where Nadal has only 2; been over a decade too! Novak has 7 & still adding to his totals effortlessly! :face-with-hand-over-mouth:

Novak was already anointed "The GOAT" by several past greats, including Wilander after Novak won his 1st FO back in 2016! He only had 12 Majors at the time, but acquiring them in bunches winning 2 or 3 almost every season! IDK how Nadal can still be considered; j/b of his clay excellence? That won't fly now or in the future! That's Nadal's main claim to fame now; "clay master!" Novak's destroying the competition even when he isn't 100 %! Everything's gravy from here on out as he's become #1 again; 374 weeks & counting! :astonished-face::fearful-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth::face-with-tears-of-joy:

What about it? Borg did it 3 straight seasons, Nadal 2 over 3! Fed & Djokovic did it in '09 & '21 respectively! WIll that alone elevate Rafa? NOPE!
What are you talking about, “elevate him?” How much higher can he go? I’m not talking about elevating him, I’m talking about how historically it’s been shown that winning Wimbledon straight after the French is one of the most difficult things in the sport. I was responding to your unfair diss on Rafa. To put him down, you overlooked the details…

Brother, I’m surprised at you. If Carlos wins the French this year, Mats would be just as likely to anoint him goat. Mats eats a ham sandwich from Tesco and tells everyone it was the greatest ham sandwich anyone ever ate. Ooh - says Mats - look at that window! Greatest window ever because I’m looking through it right now!

Rafa has barely played “bunches of slams” in a season, yet he’s got the greatest rate rate of winning them among the Big 3. Do you hear me declaring him to be the Goat?

Be like Kieran - the window you just looked through is only a window. Don’t deify your sandwich. Don’t be like Mats…

Touting Nole's rec. isn't putting Nadal down! It's putting things in perspective! Right now Rafa winning those FO's the only rec. he has over Novak!

Everybody is putting Rafa in the perspective they prefer to put him in, that includes us Rafa fans.

Novak also holds the record over Rafa in New York…
Amazing how the H2H record in slams is always forgotten :exploding-head: I guess all the Clay wins don't count :face-with-tears-of-joy:
