Well Nole's off and running with his match against Isner! He's threatened every service game with break points; finally slashing a winner at 15-40 in Johns 3rd service game! It was a tough serve, but a stretch and flick came off his racket for a winner on the baseline! :whistle:

Just the way I like it! John may be a great guy, but he ticks me off with his play! It's hit or miss; a big serve and a cloud of dust and it's just plain boring! He takes me back to the old days with his game and that isn't going to beat any top player who can return that serve! Novak had him scrambling to hold almost every serves game! It should have been more a wipeout, but Nole does this at times; gets to BP and lets them get away!

zed held up well vs cilic recovering breaks in both sets (though cilic imploded a bit)..really want zed to make sf at least.

Lendl's a miracle worker! Fed's been a mess since the Spring! Losing that match yesterday to Kei in straight sets hurt his chances! He needs to win 2 matches & not give up unnecessary sets or he's done and won't be playing a SF contest against anyone, much less Nole! :whistle:
