Moutet fails the second time to serve it out.

Tsonga gets his break. Then Pella gets his hold. Back to parity in this set. Did not think he'd pull it off. But of course Moutet doesn't have much experience at this level. Just didn't have the goods to close it out. Maybe can get it done. But more work to be done now.
Then Tsonga gets his hold. 5-4 Tsonga.

Pella crawled all the way back from 0-5 to even it out at 5:5, to lose then the last 2 games and the match.

Tsonga takes the set. So frustrating from Kei. But. He's always gonna be breakable. It's really on me for continuing to have hope. 6'5" Tsitsipas Zverev he is not.
Tsitsipas two points away from the match.

Moutet takes the match and I think all of France just lost their minds! Huge win for him.

If Maden had just a little bit more power I am sure he would be able to, against all odds, win one more game this set.

Dellien saved 4 MP, but the 5 was lethal. Good fighter.

Good win for Tsitsipas. Good couple weeks for Dellien. Tough loss today. But he'll add 37 points (I think), +45 from second round here. -8 from dropping one of his lowest point totals. That should pop him up into the high 70s, depending on where others add and lose points. I'd say he should be safe for direct acceptance into Wimbledon. But.... he's got 80 points to defend from a challenger coming up. Plus I don't know precisely when all the direct acceptance stuff stops for slams. Is it the week before or 2 weeks or 6 weeks? I can't remember.

Agree, Dellien put up a good fight at the end. Took a set and fought hard in the last, but as you said even in the 2nd set bagel he was not giving up. Actually that 2nd set was longer than the 3rd which ended up 6:3.

I wish Nadal to finish this match asap so they switch over to Tsonga Nishikori.

But Tsonga wants to play more. After saving couple of breakpoints he breaks Samurai in the next game and now is 3:0

Atmosphere on PC is kind of awful. It's better for french when they play on smaller courts, crowd goes to frenzy there. Here the support just looks too stiff.

Now Tsonga broken again.

Exactly because of the 80 points from last year for the challanger in Vicenza will come off, Dellien is set to lose points and drop sine ranking positions ( minimum 9).
