I doubt Rafa will be able to bully his opponent the way he did Tsissypants in the semifinal. If Nole can withstand the initial onslaught, Rafa could lose in three. Picking the #1 to do it iin 4.
And do you think that Novak will be able to bully his opponent the way he did the French? are you serious?

The funny thing of all of this is that at beginning of the Tournament Rafa was far to be one of the candidates to win this AO, everything was around Federer and Novak, one or the other would be the winner. Well, as you can see things changes before you think or you want to believe

That is not true. Novak was considered to be wide favorite. While both Rafa and Roger were considered way behind Novak, both were tied for all practical purposes.

Really looking forward to watching this - probably my favorite matchup to watch, because I can just enjoy the pure tennis of it and know I'll see amazing feats of athleticism and skill, without having to stress about "my guy" winning.

I can relate. That’s how I feel when watching Novak and Roger. Watching their 2010 & 2011 USO SFs were two of the more enjoyable times I’ve ever had watching tennis.

Time on court:

Nadal 12 hours, 11 minutes
Djokovic 11 hours, 59 minutes.

These guys are sprinting to the finish line.

:lol6: really? I think Djokovic.
You act surprised at the question. I thought you did say you didn't root for him anymore, if not actively against. Anyway, I'm sure you're happy to forgive.

I have not watched one of Rafa's match live so far,I decided to record them and watch the next day,in peace and quiet. On this blog I have voted for him to win in 3 sets:) so I wont jinx myself and will record the final and watch the next day,it has worked for me,btw I have said a few Hail Marys before I go to bed.I have not decided which way I will vote as yet.

Anybody know what was shortest time to finals ? I am wondering if Fed will be watching tomorrow. And Puolie-Tsitsipas pair.

The final, however, will not be a sprint ;)

If going to 6h as last time, than Novak would pass 1/3 of Aus Open just in Finale match, and 2/3 would go to other 6 matches. Funny fact.

And somehow everything about that is perfectly normal.

Maybe Kieran (sp?) will be back on TF for this final

I hope so. I'd love to get to know him. I've been told he's literary-minded as a whole & poetic & he likes word-play & that I'd love him by Moxie & Kate. I might love him but he might not love me. It would be nice if there were more poetically-minded people here.
