Pinch in the shoulder from tired muscle. He needs physio.

Well done to Rad, he just saved three set points, two on Andy's serve. Can see that Murray is still feeling his way onto the surface. He's not swinging so free yet. 6-6 in the breaker, I doubt Andy wants the complication of Stepanek winning this first set...

Wait a second, will ye! I missed that point through your impatience.

Another set point save! Rad the Impaler is in bloodsucking mode! :clap

Amelie looking anxious in the stand after Andy dropped serve in the second. She's furiously knitting a tea cosy to keep her mind busy... :snigger

Oh, cruelty strikes Andy on a bp at 2-4: net cord.

It's 5-2 for Rad on tellyland...

Murray is out. Bad tiebreak in the first cost him the chance to get some valuable match practice...

Great win for Stepanek. Murray must be a bit p'd off having failed to take the first set with 8 set points but great play by Stepanek all the same. Few points lost for Murray and guaranteed a new winner now this year.

What the hell, Andy -_-

Oh well, at least this wasn't Wimbledon, I don't think it'll affect him much but it would have been handy to get some more matches under his belt, and to avoid losing his second match under a new coach...

I guess it was not just a bad TB, by looking at the score

I think he had about 6 set points in that breaker and couldn't take one.

Rad had one set point and took it...

The TB was bad all right, but he should have not had such a poor second set afterwards...the way you said it, it was just a matter of who takes the TB wins the match.
If Murray is #1 on grass, he should not lose two consecutive sets to a 35 year old.

No, that's right, but had he won the first, the second wouldn't have been decisive. He played a poor second set, but similar to Dustin against Rafa, Stepanek became bolder after winning the first. The higher ranked players are still finding their feet, but they'll have to find them elsewhere now...

Watching Murray flail away! So much for his serve getting him out of trouble; 1st serve % dropping precipitously with double faults! Game 8 has been going on for almost 10 minutes; ON GRASS! HOW?

What's sad is that this result does not surprise me. Murray will doing well if he gets past the semis at Wimby and not many people will be too shocked anymore if he's out before the fourth round. He just doesn't have it anymore. And Mauresmo isn't the answer. Would love to see him prove me wrong but my expectations for Murray are pretty much gone.

^ I still consider him the favourite at Wimbledon till proven otherwise personally. All you need look to is Nadal at the lead up events to RG and then the result in the main tournament.

Then why didn't Roger win Wimbledon in 2013?
