Rafa played great, whatever was up with Cilic. And not to take anything away from Nishioka...he played great! I do think he surprised Rafa, a bit, but the kid has game. Thing is, he's small, and I think Rafa knew he could just beat him into submission, if nothing else.I don't know how much Cilic was off but it had a lot to do because how well Rafa has played. I think yesterday Rafa was a little bit confused and surprised playing vs the young Japanese
Definitely the kid played wellRafa played great, whatever was up with Cilic. And not to take anything away from Nishioka...he played great! I do think he surprised Rafa, a bit, but the kid has game. Thing is, he's small, and I think Rafa knew he could just beat him into submission, if nothing else.
Hmmmm, I wouldn't mind if Kyrgios would play the final but I don't remember to see him playing two good matches in a row, I wouldn't be surprised if he lose vs Querrey tonightHopefully Kyrgios wins against Querrey to make the final more interesting.
Probably the highlights didn't tell the story, but the kid is also a shotmaker. It's likely you'll have chances to see more of him before too long.I saw the highlights from his match yesterday and it looked pretty weak. The tiny qualifier was just a pusher. Rafa was hitting a lot better today
