The Teen Queen slugged it out against Swaitek winning the 1st set 64
Iga has a break now in the 2nd set leading 3-0
For a 17 yo she has a mature game, I love her fhand slice for starters and she can only get better, she turns 18 next April, so she is still limited on the amount of tournaments she can play, also her coach is just a valid asset to Mira at this point in time, in Conchita Martinez
As a 17 yo she plays 'fearless' lol! and to her advantage
Iga founding her range better in the 2nd set and wins 63, a cleaner set of tennis from the No 1 player as you would expect / or hope lol!
Going 3 sets this is a fun match!

This has been such a fun match between Iga and Mira getting down to the business end of the 3rd set Iga returned well and broke the serve of Mira, now will serve for the match at 6-5 and a place in the SF at Cinncy

Down a set, Iga was made to work for her win 46 63 75 against the very talented 17 yo Mirra Andreeva
This young lady is a super talent and will only get better well done Mirra!

Yes she had to work a little harder to defeat Andreeva,now we will see a match between Iga and no.2

The first set between Jess and Leylah, both players having trouble holding their service games due to the conditions
Jess finally held serve and won the 1st set 75

What a fight back from Fernandez in the 2nd set, Jess was leading 4-0 and Leylah fought back and it went to a TB which she won in impressive fashion 76(1)
Going 3 sets, again who handles these conditions will win!
