Tossip,

She says she has still a lot of pain in knee, but says she will continue to play with it regardless? apparently she dosent want to listen to her body, now with this shoulder injury just before WAT1000 Toronto, her husband is her fitness trainer, for the life of me why cant he talk some common sense into his wife,?
She is too much of a people pleaser, and will not listen to that man.I hope that she listens to her body and come back next season ready to win big titles.

Paula Badosa has made her first final of the year defeating Dolehide 63 63 she awaits the winner of the 2nd SF Sabalenka v Bouzkova
Bouzkova won the 1st set 64 at the Citi DC tournament
Going 3 sets as Saba won the 2nd set 63
Match suspended rain on serve in the 3rd set Saba 2-1 and Bouzkova was to serve before the rain came
Just got back in from shopping match still suspended I will try to see if there is no more play
Finally the SF between Saba v Bouzkova has started after a long rain delay Saba broke and leading 3-2, Bouzkova broke back on serve in the 3rd set 3all
Bouzkova d Sabalenka 64 36 63 and will play Paula Badosa tomorrow in the final at Citi DC tournament

So it is official Marketa Vondrousva is divorced, Marketa had to withdraw from the Olympics due to a hand injury
Though there is good news for Marketa she has a new boy friend, a 22 yo, tennis player Andrew Paulson, from Prague

These Czech players marry and divorce often, they get entangled quickly and untangle quickly.

In a rain delayed match Pauloa Badosa won the Citi DC tournament in 3 sets, her first title since 2022, and 4th career title, good to see her winning a final after her back problems, at one time she was thinking of retiring
Also well done to Bouzkova in these trying rain conditions!
Badosa d Bouzkova 61 46 64

Defending champion Iga Swiatek, qualifies for WTA Finals Riyadh, Iga is the first player to secure the season ending tournament, Iga has won 5 titles ( so far) this season and will be malking her fourth consecutive appearence.
The WTA finals begin on November 2nd ( I wont be watching live, I will post scores, I am Disgusted that the WTA is going to a country that in this present day, treat women as '2nd Class Citizens" sad to say money talks!

At Toronto WTA1000 tournament,
Osaka d Jabeur (9) 63 61, Osaka would be favored on this court, still after Ons had to withdraw from the Citi DC tournament in Washington a few days ago with a shoulder injury to me it was Madness playing in Toronto, though as usual Ons plays on with injuries to no avail.

Taylor Townsend a LL defeated the Canadian wild card Marina Stakusic 19 yo, 60 62, a tennis lesson for the youngster, though she will learn from this experience no doubt
