Dosent look good for defending Wimbledon champion Vondourosova who had a bad fall in Berlin on the grass, which is still very slippery, she had to retire in her match against Kalinskaya, fell badly on her right leg, with Wimbledon being 2 weeks away is a worry

Siniakova d Zheng 64 64 to reach the QFs in Berlin, good Top Ten win for her, who loves the grass.
A straight sets win for the No 1 seed Coco Gauff over Alexandrova 76(6) 62
Jess Pegula (4) in a straight sets win over Donna Vekic 64 75
Rybakina (3) d Kudermetova 64 75
Jabeur (8) d Noskova 67(5) 63 64
Sabalenka (2) d Kasatkina 61 64

Rybakina retires after 15mins in her match against Azarenka in Berlin
Looked like she wasnt feeling well, dizzy
Not ideal before Wimbledon
Azarenka into the SFs

Official reason why Elena retired, due to abdominal pain
Final score 3-1 RET

Agree, she is running out of body parts for her withdrawals,

By my count the 4th time she's had an illness this year

Dubai QFs withdrew vs Paolini
IW Did not play
Rome did not play
Berlin withdrew v Azarenka, abdominal pain

Play in Berlin has been cancelled for today due to persistent rain!

Other QF matches Sabalenka v Kalinskaya and Gauff v Jabeur
One SF match so far is Azarenka who won by retirement from Rybakina
