Bloody grass, still slippery and dangerous, it dosent calm down until next week, it is really for cows and barn yard animals isnt it?
Ruse had a bad fall in her match against Rybakina, had physio out, seems okay
Rybakina playing well leads 5-1 in the 2nd set
Rybakina wins 63 61

Spanish player Maerio wins the 1st set against defending champion Vondrousova 64

Defending champion Marketa about to lose in her 1st round match as Spanish player Maneiro is serving for the match 5-2
Marketa all over the place, in this match, also that bad fall that Marketa had in Berlin, her movement was hampered in this match
Maneiro d Vondrousova 64 62

Note:
Seeing Vondrousova lost this match it'll be just the 3rd time a ladies defending champion has lost in their first match of defence and the first since Graf 30 years ago in 1994 she lost to Lori McNeil

Graf losing to McNeil at 1994 Wimbledon is probably the biggest upset in tennis history. That said, if I remember correctly, Graf suffered an injury at the French Open, which probably contributed to her loss (and also missing the 1995 AO).

Iga seems to be playing well against a Kenin who seems so disinterested.

I disagree. The draw is much more balanced than last year. The reason why we got a surprise winner is because Ons, Rybakina, and Sabalenka were all in the same half of the draw, and they wore each other out. It wasn't fair to any of them, especially Ons and Rybakina, who played in the Championship the previous year and had to play in the quarterfinal. That should have been, at the earliest, a semifinal match.

No one is going to slip through the cracks this year.
Well this year Iga,Ons and Rybakina are all bunched up in the same half of the draw.

Marketa Vondrousova loses 2000 points and will leave the Top 10 after Wimbledon. Drops to #15 at best.

Graf was injured I didnt expect her to do well, though going out in first round was disheartening as a strong Graf fan, I have watched Graf live many times, she is one of my all time favorite players ever

Goodness me Garcia won in straight sets over Blinkova 64 75
Caroline is a good grass court player when she stays mentally focused

I am watching Carolines match as I have said many times Parks needs a better off the ground game, cant rely purely on her serve , I see Park's father is again coaching Parks, also Parks cant find the court today at all

Hoergren,

Caroline doing Iga things hands Parks a bagel in the 2nd set :)
Caroline wins with ease 62 60
Parks could not find the court at all.

Good Win.. The UFEs queen Parks really was defeated by a pro playing a clean game.. Wozy hopefully taught the young American the importance of consistency.
Parks needs a better off the 'ground game' she cant keep relying on her first serve, she could not find the court today

Just dropping by to say that I didn't realize that Kerber and Wozniacki were still (back) playing. Weird.
