Alcaraz said you cannot always win. He did not seem too upset. He will stay in London and Ferrero arriving on Sunday. Carlos hopes to practice at Wimbledon most of next week.
May I suggest Carlos needed to play doubles at Queens like other players did, to get more practice on grass coming from the clay., some players adjust quicker than others when changing surfaces

Are they trying new shot clock at Queens?

Alcaraz said he felt rushed, because the clock started automatically immediately after the point finished, not by the umpire who normally does it.

Hi Don,

Apparently so, Carlos does not like it at all and will give his feedback to the ATP

If I were Giron playing Halle, and saw I had Rublev, Berrettini and the pigeon-toed Pole in my draw?? I might take my chunky butt and go home. Yet here he is, on serve against Hurkacz in the tiebreak of the first set. Credit to him!

Arthur Fils takes the first set off of Zverev in Halle. He's playing a very smart and calm match. Game works really well on grass, too. Hits the ball really big, but some very pretty points, too.

A really good level from Jannik in his first set against Struff, his return game working to a 'tee' 1st set 62 against Struff
Heavy rain in Halle, thank goodness there is a roof! for this match

I was watching Sinner v. Struff and missed the first set of Draper v. Paul. Was the detective slow out of the gate?

Maybe a bit of a let down with his win against Alcaraz yesterday? I am only SB as I am watching Janniks match

TB for the 2nd set between Sinner v Struff
Jannik had his chances to break the serve of Struff before the TB but could not convert
Jannik watch your serve in the TB down 0-3 already?
