I think it's too hard for the players to remain in competitive mode for so long. Count in the slams and long season. Sooner or later they will lose focus and be prone to upsets or maybe just be tired and prioritize the slams. Plus they need to play more matches to win the tournament with extended draws.I'm curious why you say that?
We have a match! That net cord though...2 times in 5 mins. What have we here??
Sort of, with all these double faults. Is Rune becoming a Head Case? honestly I dont mean to be horrible he should be in the locker room now!
Yep, he had full control of this match in the 3 rd set and he has let it slip and let Frances back inSort of, with all these double faults.
Not stolen! Earned. It was one break, and he got it back. Then he raised his game, and Rune dropped. I hate that "stolen" sh!t.As I said a story of Rune's year. He went from clutch player to misfiring so much in the crucial moments.
Some stunning BHs from Tiafoe in TB and he steals the match.
It didn't so much "slip" away as get wrested away from him. But he had the match on serve, and failed to close. To love, I believe.Rune let that match slip away it was his own fault
Well done to Frances he didnt not go away!
No one was touching their numbers, extended or not. As good of a season Alcaraz and Sinner are having, they only have 3 or 4 titles this year. Roger and Rafa not only won, but dominated. They were winning 10, 11 titles in a season. It will be nearly impossible to win Novak's/Nadal's number of Masters in the future if the majority of Masters remain extended. Be it Alcaraz or whoever.
I call it slip, he was leading 4-2, he still has focus issues as far as I am concerned and showed up again in this match, I am not taking anything away from Framces and his win today, it was just disappointing from Rune, I know he can be a better player than thatIt didn't so much "slip" away as get wrested away from him. But he had the match on serve, and failed to close. To love, I believe.
And that netcord from Maryland when Tiafoe was down 2 MPs.It didn't so much "slip" away as get wrested away from him. But he had the match on serve, and failed to close. To love, I believe.
