Shame for Emma, not at her best. But Garcia played a great match & on in a good run of form!
Always been a huge fan of Caroline, she has a great games, especially on grass, lets see if she can go forward more at Wimbledon

Emma Raducanu on dealing with pressure, in her press conference after her 2nd Rd loss,
" I am a slam champion,no one's gonna take that away from me.If anything the pressure is on those who haven't done that".

Interesting way of looking at it. Unfortunately it won't take any media pressure off her.

Sakkari made it thru okay over Tomova! Love the white coulotte shorts and sports bra! Throw in a "Y" chromosome and she'd be perfect! :face-with-hand-over-mouth:
I have a real problem with any one suggesting "Throw in a Y chromosome and she'd be perfect? such a sexist comment? stick to actual tennis !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... of course there was No Mention of the actual tennis being played?

Concern should still be there though! No one wants to be called/labeled a "one hit wonder!" At least when Iva Majoli won hers in Paris, it made history by stopping Martina Hingis from achieving a CYGS in '97! There is a difference! Sorry to say so far it's looking like Emma's USO's an accident more than anything else! Od course she has plenty of time to change that! Watching the repeat now and some low-life POS in the crowd applauded the 1st pt. from a double fault by Garcia! More Karma to go along with Murray defeat?:astonished-face: :shushing-face::fearful-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth:

Ouch for Harmony Tan, she barely takes out Serena, and decides to pull out of doubles incurring the wrath of her doubles partner. I’m unsure why she would pull out of doubles. She stands a better shot at doing something there versus singles lol.

Tan apparently had a upper thigh problem, I believe.

I agree, that kind of comment has no place in a Tennis Forum. Throw in a Y chromosome, that is really not kind. I think we can all do a little better, be a little kinder to each other. It's a tough world out there folks, I don't have tell anyone that but comments like that can only mess with an individual's head. Like Margaret said, "stick to actual tennis'"!

All that aside, why didn't the girl talk to Tan before she parked all their business in the middle of main street.

That's a nice PR deflection tactic, but I don't think she actually believes that. Behind closed doors, she worries about the pressure and disappointing her nation.

Agree, as I said the pressure will be back on her in the upcoming HC season especially the USO
