There is a potential problem lurking in Novak's part of the draw, his name is Carlos.
So far Novak has noone to bother him, I feel at this stage of the tournament he needs to be pushed. It will be a good test, provided Alcaraz defeats Sinner

Of course I have to cheer on my fellow Italian Sinner in his match with The Kid...my parents would throw heavy pasta down on me from heaven if I did not:)

ALCARAZ was amazing and he will take out Djokovic in the QF. :face-with-hand-over-mouth::dance3:
Wait dont count your chickens before they hatch.........there is another player named Sinner in that contest he took out the Serve Boat aka Isner today with ease in straight sets.

While Alcaraz played great, Otte's game plan was all wrong and made the scoreline a lot worse. Alcaraz' FH is MILES better than his backhand and Otte stupidly hit almost the whole match long to his FH. He'll beat Sinner I think, probably in 4 or even 5 because Sinner's serve can let him down at times but Sinner wouldn't use poor tactics like hitting to his opponent's best side all match long so it will be more of a contest for sure.

Isner had issues with his knee and finger unfortunately which didn't help and he was well below the level he showed against Murray but I bet on Sinner today and he didn't let me down. Big servers rarely win 2 big matches consecutively either.

Shame Isner saved his best for Murray, as Murray v Alcaraz if it happened would have been a great match! How much did you win on the bet?

We shall see Sinner is a great returner of the ball, also he has Cahill on his side, a coach with great tactic advise

Indeed. But on the other hand, the battle of the future stars. I think Alcaraz is more ready at this point.
We shall see, at least The Kid has taken his roller skates off on the grass.........finally

Djokovic says he's not a fan of the change in Wimbledon made this year in allowing players to practice on the CC before the start of the tournament.Says he never thought someone would be allowed in before the defending champion.

So he's not a fan or less players slipping over  I wonder what the slipping stats are compared to previous years?

Actually that would be an interesting stat if anyone could find out, I mean last year Serena fell over and did her achilles in her first match and had to retire for example, it was bad last year.

Otte still played 1000 times better than Kecmanovic! Djokovic's level is being very overrated, he will lose to the first opponent who actually puts a few balls inside the court.

I just don't see it. Alcaraz will take care of Sinner & Djokovic. :bye:
