I like your positive attitudeI just don't see it. Alcaraz will take care of Sinner & Djokovic.

I'm sorry, but that seems a little bit unnecessarily snobby and self-serving. As you say, Serena slipped last year and it took her out of tennis for 12 months. I get the mythology of the pristine grass, etc., but health and safety are a concern.Djokovic says he's not a fan of the change in Wimbledon made this year in allowing players to practice on the CC before the start of the tournament.Says he never thought someone would be allowed in before the defending champion.
Alcaraz has a 1-0 H2H over Sinner (plus a win in Challengers over Sinner,) and he has a 1-0 H2H over Djokovic (in the not-so clay clay of Madrid.) I'll take him over a Sinner as bigger trouble for Novak.I like your positive attitude
Ah very little I'm not doing big bets anymore since RG final. Only a tiny €30 double on Tommy Paul and Sinner to win and got back €62. Most I do now is €50 at a time cos it's been pretty unpredictable this year.Shame Isner saved his best for Murray, as Murray v Alcaraz if it happened would have been a great match! How much did you win on the bet?
And how about Nadal's level? You should know by now they don't go all out in the early rounds as they're quite rightly conserving energy for the later stages of the tournament that they hope to reach.Otte still played 1000 times better than Kecmanovic! Djokovic's level is being very overrated, he will lose to the first opponent who actually puts a few balls inside the court.
True that top players are in it for the long fortnight. But Nadal is still finding his range, etc., on grass, not having played on it in 3 years. Djokovic has his feet in the grass, I'd say, but Kemanovic was a Manila Folder today. He played a poor game to drop serve, and then he began to panic, and Novak completely rolled him. What Kemanovic put up today could not be called competition. Kokkinakis is another story. He has game, but sadly has been too injured to make much of it. I thought it might be more competitive, but it wasn't a huge surprise that it wasn't. I do agree with Nadalfan2013 on this in that Novak hasn't been tested. Baron Von Richtoven might put up some dog-fight, but he is also way above the tree-line from where his has ever been before. Could be a test, could be a rout. Could be interesting, but no more. And how about Nadal's level? Excuse me I am not a snob....you can get over calling me self serving for starters,.I dont appreciate it .Dont take what I said out of context, of course the grass was slippery I was watching her match live, it was bloody dangerous, and it is for all the safety of all players for starters, I think it was a good idea for the officials at Wimbledon this year to allow the players to practice on the CC and court1.Stop make 'Unnecessary ' comments about my original post, read them clearly!as others did not have a problem with them.I'm sorry, but that seems a little bit unnecessarily snobby and self-serving. I'm sorry you misread that. I thought it was clear that the "snobby and self-serving" one in that context was Djokovic. I followed it on with, "As you say, Serena lost a year....,etc." I thought that made it clear that I was agreeing with you. Sorry for the confusion.Excuse me I am not a snob....you can get over calling me self serving for starters,.I dont appreciate it .Dont take what I said out of context, of course the grass was slippery I was watching her match live, it was bloody dangerous, and it is for all the safety of all players for starters, I think it was a good idea for the officials at Wimbledon this year to allow the players to practice on the CC and court1.Stop make 'Unnecessary ' comments about my original post, read them clearly!as others did not have a problem with them.
I think this is an excellent explanation/example of how some players seem to come "out of the blue." He invested in himself for this grass season, possibly sensing that he was ready for a push, and it has paid off. Let's see if he can give ol' Djoker a run for his money. No one else has yet, except for Kwon, when Djokovic looked less-than-all-there.Really good interview with the Red Baron aka Tim Van Ruthoven,
Tim said grass was his favorite surface.Tim said his original plan was to have his coach for 15 weeks only. Now he can pay him for all the year.Which is great to hear.I think we take for granted how hard it is for some of these players to survive on the tour, Tim had only just won his first ATP tour title, before coming to Wimbledon. The higher ranked players have a couple of coaches, sometimes, hitting partners, physio, trainers, players like Tim battle hard and it is refreshing to hear that he can now afford a coach to travel with him all year,I wish him further success on the tour.
Well done to him, he must take inspiration from his countryman Van de Zand who qualified at the USO made the QF from nowhere & is now in the top 30? One good tournament can be all it takes for some players to go from struggling to survive on tour to gaining the confidence to rise up the rankings & have a decent career.Really good interview with the Red Baron aka Tim Van Ruthoven,

Yep. And he’s one game away from a straight set win over Molcan.Fritz seems to be playing well close to his Indian Wells form.
Fritz wins, 6-4, 6-1, 7-6Yep. And he’s one game away from a straight set win over Molcan.
