Thanks Carol, from what I am reading from other tennis journalists who were also present watching Rafa in his first practice session, he looked much better than he did in Rome against Shapo, moving freely, also Uncle Toni made a surprise visit to Rafa's first practice. Rafa was hitting with Jaume Munar.
Also, one of the Clown Princes aka Tsitsipas came up to Rafa after his session was over :)
Stefano might be trying to explain and backtrack off article where he proclaimed so much respect for Novak; the smartest pro out there! :face-with-hand-over-mouth: :face-with-tears-of-joy:

I love the new quote inside Chatrier
" Victory Belongs To The Most Tenacious"
On the opposite side it is in French.

Maybe they figure they can get away with that as their tribute to Rafa. :lulz1: Would be a backhanded compliment worthy of them.

Nadal's draw looks a little tough with old man Wawrinka in the 2nd Rd. (if he makes it), Fognini, & FAA potentially! Upsets will happen though! :face-with-hand-over-mouth:
Remember a draw is on paper only.,upsets can happen to anyone including the No 1 player.

It is OFFICIAL: There will be NO ranking points to gain on the ATP Tour at this year's Wimbledon.

Now, I am not sure if the 2021 points will be dropped or will remain until next year.

It looks like the 2021 Wimbledon ranking points will be drop meaning that if Djokovic loses in the QF at RG, then he will be at 5,040 points at the end of Wimbledon. He will still be in the Top 8 after Wimbledon. Now, if he can't play the US Open, then he will be out of the Top 10. Crazy times...

It will also hurt Novak's efforts to retain No 1 ranking, Novak the defending champion at Wimbledon stands to lose 2,000 points.
No 2 Medvedev and No 3 Zverev each only stand to lose 180 points making the fourth round.

Basically, Medvedev and Zverev will be the number 1 and number 2 rank players in the world after Wimbledon.

As for Nadal, if he wins RG, then he will be ranked number 3 after Wimbledon.
