Honestly, I didn't realize that your link had this video attached, either. I don't think anyone is trying to one-up anyone. It's just all sad. It's not actively a crime to post what someone else already did. Chill.
Jelefan has being doing this on purpose to me all day,it is not the first time,he attacked me personally last year, read the whole blog since Del Potro retired,Of course he is trying to one up me,open your eyes.I try to ignore him,but today I am not taking his shit okay.

Not a bad effort from Delpo defeating Rafa and Roger in a major.
Nalbandian was the first to do it, at a MS 1000. Djokovic has since done it at a Major, but I'm not sure who has beaten 2 of the big 3 to win a Major, since. Anyone?

Novak beat Roger and Rafa to win 2012 USO, of course, but I remembered that Stan beat Novak and Rafa to win 2014 AO. Hard pressed to think of any others.

His immunity must be low catching this virus mutltiple times,he really has to get medical advice to improve his immunity.
That's something. I talked to an Uber driver last month that's had it 3 times. He said the last time nearly killed him. He was put on a ventilator but was sent home after 2 weeks in the hospital

I can understand players catching COVID,they fly in planes around the world, different time zones etc, different countries, still I would be looking at ways to increase my immunity, now with this current Omicron virus I have upped my vitamin intake.
For sure MM, add to that hotels, restaurants and transportation, germs are literally everywhere.

Novak Djokovic nominated for the Laureus Sportsman of the Year Award. Six finalists, including NFL star Tom Brady (go Bucs!), who is retiring at the end of this season. Should prove interesting who they select when the announcement comes in, I believe, April?
I'm almost certain they'll give it to Brady seeing as he won't be back to play again.

Rafa was injured if I recall correctly.
Yep he had a stomach muscle strain (I'm not sure if I'm writing correctly) and he couldn't even to serve and play well and not like Novak last year in the AO that his service was better than ever .....no words...

The self-indulgence of this guy taking spots from more deserving players in a draw can't be emphasized enough as far as I'm concerned! I'm sure most will say he has more drawing power, but he knows he's wasting his time! He might upset another "oldster" or "up and comer," but the days of major wins are over! Playing for the fun of it would be ok if there weren't so many others trying to work their way to his past status! :facepalm::ambulance:
Kieran is right. Sir Andy is a big draw no matter where he plays. Who are you to decide who's more deserving to receive a wildcard? And personally he's earned the right to go out on his terms and his way. So if that means he plays a number of tournaments and gets the boot in the first round, that's his business. Besides, seeing Roger and Rafa triumph at age 35+ is only going to fuel his desire to keep playing.
The days of major winning for about 97% of the field are over - did you not read the memo? Fedalovax have won 137 of the previous 138. But people love to see great players and Andy and Stan are the +2 of the Big 3 era. I think Andy is also very popular, so he'll draw a crowd more than most youngsters. I doubt he thinks he'll win a slam, but he's on the verge of breaking back into the top 100!

2011 US Open, Moxie. To this date: Tomas Berdych is the only male player to face ALL of the Big Three in a single slam. He did it in the 2010 Wimbledon. He didn’t win the title though…

Clearly, I'm trying to erase 2011 from my mind. Because I knew that. LOL. The Berdych trivia is a good one. I remember he beat Roger that year, but he beat Novak, too? OK, I just looked...it was supposed to be the Big 4 in the SFs, but Berdych spoiled the party by dumping Roger in the QFs. (2nd QF in a row he had lost, IIRC, after that really long run of SF/Fs at Majors.)

Yeah, probably my favorite Federer stat: He reached 23 consecutive Slam SF appearances from 2004 Wimbledon to 2010 Australian Open.

The next guy is Djokovic with 14…which is still quite far away from Federer!

He took Mannarino apart yesterday, after Mannarino had played that amazing TB v. Rafa last week. Maybe he needed some lower-hanging fruit to revive his ego after that inanimate performance in his last AO match?
So much for the "low-hanging fruit." Zverev went down meekly? to Bublik, 4 and 3. SMH.

First time I heard about heat causing issues, yes he usually wore his in a pony tail.I blame the lights at the USO that Borg could not win:) moving on that is my excuse for Borg and I am sticking to it....Never a fan of Cash,I still haven't got over the fact Pat R could not win against Goran, still Goran deserved his win,I remember crying after that Wimbledon win,I felt Pat Rafter had all the variety in his game to win Wimbledon than the USO.Pat said at a lunch I attended he said he felt he wasnt meant to win Wimbledon..

Felix is getting closer.. he still needs a serving coach consultant (Sampras). There’s not going to be another Big 3. Daniil, Step and Sacha still are mental midgets. All it takes is for one player like Felix to become another Sampras..the only thing that is missing is the Sampras mental focus and ability to problem solving.
