Yeah, they are around here. More of them than the grass courts which are basically none.
Well I suggest you get practice on the clay, for your sliding, these days grass courts are hard to find, even where I live, they are expensive to up keep.

They have these Har-Tru courts around here. They are not like the Red Clay at Roland Garros, but they are different then the regular hard courts.

Well they are better than nothing I guess.Red clay is another surface that does need some up keeping, though not like grass.

I heard the Red Clay needs some watering too.
Correct, when you go to an overseas clay tournament, you will notice they will water the clay at times during a match, when there is a break, especially if the weather is hot.

One thing I love about Roland Garros and the play on the Red Clay is when the players fall on the court and they get the Red Clay all over them. :lol6:

That's interesting. I guess Novak is trying to collect points and try to reach ATP finals somehow. He also doesn't want to stay away from the tour for too long again, so I think this is a good decision to play as much as possible for the remaining of the season after USO.

Novak Djokovic wont be playing DC in Valencia citing personal reasons,.If the team makes it to Malaga, he will join, captain Viktor Troicki reported.
Apparently he is attending his brothers wedding

Djokovic has withdrawn from Davis Cup.... Word all over social media is that it's because he is avoiding Alcaraz.

According to Swiss Newspaper Tages-Anzeiger reporting Roger Federer's 'preparation for the comeback is not going to plan'
Federer had a right knee recurrence, liquid in his right knee and it became inflamed.

Laver Cup is to start in 2 weeks time

This opinion piece from my local paper (thus by a potential Kyrgios fan) summaries nicely infantile personality that IMO does not deserve to be a major winner:
I have stated here in the past that Kyrgios' tantrums were an egotic reaction of an immature child who were denied a candy: always on display when he loses. Everything is beautiful "I love you guys, hope you enjoyed it" only when he wins. And his last two matches strongly confirmed my opinion.. Fist an idiot shot, which luckily cost him nothing, then finally when his infantile tactic (relying heavily on opponent distraction rather than on technically outplaying him) didn't work, we've seen 100% of infantile Kyrgios: smashed racquets left for someone else to clean up. What a disgrace, should I say!
It's strange that people like him against all of that (even I at some point I wished him luck maybe because he is a fellow Oz) but the reality quickly revised my mind: after the idiot shot I thought: no, a player so dumb does not deserve to win a major. And surely the last event of racquets smashed and left for the cleaners strongly supports this view. Hopefuly the fans will embrace it and more importantly, the players will learn from Karen's example how not to get distracted on the court by infantile narcissist tactics and how to dispatch him.
