Victoria Azarenka will not participate in the exhibition match for Ukraine per USTA decision

" Vika is a strong player leader and we appreciate her willingness to participate.Given the sensitivities to Ukranion players, and the on-going conflict,we believe this is the right course of action for us":.

Mary Perello is hospitalized because has some problems but they don't say why. She is 7 months now so I hope it's a fake call o maybe something else but the baby is ok, otherwise I don't think Rafa is going to play.

I just read that news Carol, she is in the right place as she is under observation, her parents and Maribel are with her.She was put into hospital on Monday, hopefully she and the baby will be okay.It is quite normal when mothers might be feeling they are going into early labour to be admitted into hospital, most of the time it is a false alarm, though it is safer to be in hospital, more a precautionary factor.I also feel if it was a serious problem Carol, Rafa would have left the USO tournament now when he received the news.

Good win for Jack Draper defeating Dominc Thiem 61 64. at the Winston-Salem Tournament...Dominic really needs as many matches he can get, that was very evident yesterday when he was given a bagel from Dimitrov, who had to retire in the 2nd set due to feeling dizzy and had trouble breathing.
BTW Jack Draper didnt face a BP all match against Thiem. Jack is just one win away from a Top 50 debut. He was top 250 at the start of the year.

I was wondering about that RET by Dimitrov. It is hot and humid in W-S, but Dimitrov is out, and now Thiem. I won't be worried about either of them in the draw at the USO, I guess.

I read a message from Dimitrov earlier, he said he was feeling much better and is looking forward to the USO. Dominic is a long way off to getting back to a decent playing level.

Still, I don't count either in my tops for making it deep.

Poor Team World — they’re so desperate to beat Team Europe, they even contacted me. I told them I have asthma and require two different inhalers. They said it doesn’t matter.

T they contacted me as well. I informed them I could only really offer fashion and decorating advice. Sadly I had to inform them my crystal ball did not see a different outcome for LC this year. In fact, I can only really see victory in doubs as Sock and anybody will win at least one match, no? :crystal-ball:

If you're doing fashion consulting, you should contact Ostapenko's people.

I barely glance at LC b/c we know who are the great players & if they drop a match it's obviously fixed just so event appears compeititive! :face-with-hand-over-mouth: :fearful-face:
Exactly. It’s a smug exo, with no teeth and no bones. No balls needed either…
