NSW government will have to apply for a exemption to allow Novak to play and he will have to go into 14 day quarantine before being allowed to play in Sydney if Novak is not vaccinated,we have different laws here in Sydney than Victoria.Dan Andrews,Premier,of Victoria has previously stated he will not make any exemptions for any tennis player who is not vaccinated.Quite frankly I feel Novak is vaccinated., remember he does not want to disclose if he is vaccinated. Todd Woodbridge.,from Tennis Australia will be on the sports program,so I will post any updated news from Todd.I read that he would have to be quarantine for a 14 day period without being vaccinated.. this is getting confusing. All of Us aren't as medical informed as Front and Kieran.
The Age: Novak Djokovic confirmed for ATP Cup in Sydney, organisers say.
Aus Open intrigue as Djokovic signs on for Sydney event
World No.1 Novak Djokovic has committed to the ATP Cup in Sydney, a tournament that requires players to submit to the same vaccination rules as the Australian Open.www.theage.com.au
Miss Margaret..Can you please read through this minutiae and break it down in layman terms.
Quite frankly why would Novak just play in Sydney and not the AO in 2022 as well, does not make sense. As far as I am concerned he is vaccinated.
Todd Woodbridge, just came on our sports program he has been in Sydney to launch the ATP Cup said that Novak knows that he has to be vaccinated to play at the AO in 2022.Seeing he has committed to play at the ATP Cup in Sydney before the AO in Melbourne he believes Novak is vaccinated
