Russia is one set away from winning the Davis Cup.
On his 3rd SP Medvedev wins the 1st set 76(7) over Cilic.Cilic was close in the 1st set,but I felt he needed to win it.
Medvedev with the help of a net cord,breaks early in the 2nd set 3-1

He gets a lot of those lucky bounces hitting sorta flat and not getting the clearance over the net like Djokovic and Nadal!

Borna Gojo, 23 yrs old and ranked 279 or something. Wonder if he'll get a "Davis Cup" bounce next year. He did well. I still think they should have played Cilic against Rublev.

Borna Coric who underwent shoulder surgery is another good player for Croatia,I assume he will be okay for 2022.
I guess we will never know if Cilic would be able to defeat Rublev who played great tennis.Gojo has a lot of upside to his game,has a great serve,I read he was also Novak's hitting partner at the AO this year,Novak had good words about his game.

The ATP Cup Draw.,
The first four countries placed into separate groups.Countries ranked 5 to 8 will then be randomly drawn,followed by countries ranked 9 to 12 and finally countries ranked 13 to 16.
The ATP Cup field and draw will be revealed on Tuesday 7th,December.
The draw starts at 2.15pm AEDT (ATP Cup Facebook).The schedule will be released on Wednesday.
( Plans to bring back the original 24 team ATP Cup format across three Australian cities for 2023).

I don't expect the final answer over this tomorrow. I think we'll see Novak's name on the entry list, with no commentary. He still has time to get the one-and-done J&J jab, or withdraw. There has been a lot of Sturm und Drang over this. A few weeks ago I would have bet that Djokovic's ambition would win out and he'd get the jab and play. With his father's statement, and upping the ante on the rhetoric, calling out the AO for "blackmail," I'm not so sure. (I completely expect that Djoker's dad speaks for him and the team.) More drama to come, I think.

If they're strict about the 14-days post jab for full vaccination, and he wants to get there in enough time to get over jet-lag and have some time to train, and maybe play an exhibition or a tournament before?? I read that he would have to be quarantine for a 14 day period without being vaccinated.. this is getting confusing. All of Us aren't as medical informed as Front and Kieran.
