There seems no limit to dissing Andy Murray on this forum. I'm with you. I like him, and I hope that 2022 is at least a good last stand for him.

Mektic/Pavic were too good, at this point in their career they can only lose against another doubles specialists and Novak and his compadres are not even close to that.

I thought Croatia might put in Cilic v. Rublev, thinking that Rublev might be more vulnerable than Medvedev, and then rely on the doubles, if they had to. Rublev playing very well, though, v Gojo.

Agree with Cilic playing Rublev,though I must say Rublev has picked up his game since the semi finals.I would back Croatia in the doubles if the tie goes that far.
