Did you see that first point he lost on this service game? Thought he'd hit a first-serve fault, turned back to the service line and the ball was going past him. It was kind of funny, but mental errors have been a recent feature, which is odd.Dios mio, vintage Rafa in his first Service Game.
I think @MargaretMcAleer mentioned that just the other day.It is obvious how much it counts for Nadal, he is sharp from the beginning.
I think moxie wrote it before, Nadal is a confidence player, and he is rounding into his threatening form on clay.
Except for failing to serve out the first set, and DF-ing on break point?Nadal is on another level. Right now just a training session for him.
Tomorrow he will make a statement for all doubter.
Truth, but the problem is it has nothing to do with Busta, it’s all Nadal.Except for failing to serve out the first set, and DF-ing on break point?
Thank youThe bagel first set was deceptive...neither was convincing, just that Kei was worse. Rafa started strong, but the wobbles came in. In the 2nd, Kei broke and played better, Rafa still wobbly. In the 3rd, Rafa broke, IIRC, Kei started flagging, and only then did the intensity begin to kick in for Rafa. It was a pretty sloppy match on both sides.
Yeah right now it’s worth!Might tune into Novak's match live....
